Default Callin in your bets or using the internet?

if you call in your bets, do books change the line based on your betting patterns?

do books keep track of betting patterns?

just curious cause i was looking at the warriors/heat game tonight. the over/under is 217 when i check online. when i called in they told me the over/under was 217.5

i've never bet under on a basketball game with them.

thanks for your input

I know if your book has reduced bets (game day), they tend to be capped and 'net only. I have only placed a couple bets by phone this year, and they had identical lines as the 'net.

I hate calling the offshore books. Why deal with them when you can place a wager in less than 15 seconds? Plus, very few seem to be able to speak English, never mind place my wager. I'll leave that up to the software....

I do both, but mostly call. I think my guys absolutely have a holding pattern sometimes when they think I will go a certain way...Even though I take alot of dogs.
