Default What is Betway?

I see advertisement at my local media. Looks like scandinavian book. Their design looks little bit like expekt. Any info? Thanks.

Betway.com operates from Gibraltar under the Carmen Media Groups license. The operations are under supervision and control of the Gibraltar Government.

Carmen Media was formed in 2002 and includes several successful brands that have been pioneering gaming and betting over the Internet from as early as 1997, at least a year ahead of almost every brand one can think of. This has made it possible to fine-tune and reach excellence in areas such as playing and betting experience, service and support, and security of both the various games as well as the protection of our customers’ information and funds. The betting and gaming experience of the managers within the Carmen Media Group reaches back four generations.

Yes I see it too. In Czech language too which is very unusual. Bonus is not awarded to Neteller deposits... But 1x rollover on bets with odds 1.7 (approx -140) and higher.
What is the Carmen Media?

Carmen Media run a number of Microgaming casinos which include Gaming Club and Riverbelle. I'm sure you'll be pretty safe playing there.

Carmen Media is the company that owns GamingClubSportsbook. They don't accept US players. I believe they have some casinos CS running out of Africa. Casinos produce majority of their revenue.

Interesting. That may be their way in to the US market. Do you have a link?

Betway is a new Scandinavian bookie. Yes they offer 100 % on their first deposit, but after just weeks "on air", they already received numerous complaints. Its quite unbelieveable that a new ambitious sportsbook like this, dont put any effort into the launching period. They have already been known for slow paying, huge fees, bad customer support etc. I would leave this book until they prove something.

I´m using them and have no problems - Neteller deposits/withdrawls are done immediately, but I´ve read, that there are problems with other payment methods (bank transfer).

My guess is, that their site/system wasn´t perfectly ready for a launch, but they wanted to be online before the World Cup.

I am referring to Scandinavian forums and other relevant Scandinavian sources. Im not sure what the opinion is other places, but they mostly have Scandinavian clients so far, so I think its ok to refer to sources connected to that. Also most Scandinavian clients are pretty demanding, so Betway has a long way to reach the best so far. Actually I cant remember many Scandinavian sportsbooks starting with so many problems.
