Default I need to apologize to the Shrink and Pete.

I was out of line with some of the comments I made during the BOS dispute about Ken of the EOG.com. I honestly wish I could blame it on drinking or something but since I didn't have anything to drink I have to belly up to my deeds. I am truly sorry for my immature comments.

Below are Ken's latest comments on the BOS confiscation case.

If this is indeed their FINAL RULING, EOG will not simply overlook this as TheRx has, claiming to be hiding under some "firm management position."

When companies resort to this type of wording, it's often because they know their position is weak, so no one amongst them wants to take responsibility for their action...

    That is utter BULLSHIT!!!

Gambling portals should remember that without posters, there would be no sponsors...

EOG will continue it's dialogue with BOS in the hopes of gaining a more favorable outcome for everyone involved...

And we will not HIDE behind a "firm management decision!"

I will be gone the rest of the day...

Like I said before, theRX doesn't deserve the loyalty of its members. Their actions in this case just suck.

Those are strong words by The Shrink but we'll have to see how EOG follows through.

whats is/was the 'Rx Stance' on this?

    what about tow, or MW?

Not sure why, but, i just hardly ever scan the various forums anymore.

i used to.. used to be up-to-date with all the 'main' forum happenings..but, now eveythings just seems so watered down everywhere.. maybe it's just me, but, it seems to take an awful lot of work anymore, just to find interesting topics on most forums.

then again, i don't drink as much as i used to, so, maybe i'm just seeing how things really are, without the benefit of being so easily amused.

I don't look at other boards very much either - so I couldn't tell you about TOW or MW - but this was posted here earlier today:

    From the RX board:

After much discussion I recieved the final position from BOS regarding Artie's dispute with BetMill. I want to say that I strongly advised BOS management that there was room to argue that Artie is not a syndicate player or a gambling syndicate but they ruled that his betting pattern indicated that he is. Rx. management is dissappointed that this dispute did not turn out differently but (to answer future inquires) will not be removing BOS or BetMill as advertisers over this ruling. That is a firm Rx. management decision.

John, you may be premature with your apology. BetOnSports and Millennium still have their banners flying high at EOG. The same EOG that said sportsbooks who steal from players would never have their banner flown there. They even gave BetOnSports as an example of a sportsbook that would never advertise there. How many times do you have to be taken in by the SHRINK?

BTW, are you aware BetUS has their ad banner flying high over at EOG too?

Thanks guys. What I did that was so wrong was to critize the man before he even issued an opinion. I get wrapped up in the heat of the battle but there are no excuses. Ken has always been professional with me.

Surprised with this move by the RX. If they don't have any position to get things done with their biggest advertiser than what is the point.

    John,

As I stated on EOG, your apology is accepted. You and Bill are to be commended for first alerting everyone to this crisis involving a player who had an account at BOS.

Also, it's nice to know that there is someone else out there fighting for the PLAYERS...

As I mentioned on EOG, if this is BOS'S FINAL decision, then we will take appropriate & responsible measures to prevent others from sending money to them...

Unfortunately, there will be others who continue to accept AD revenue from them in spite of this recent ordeal. While we aren't responsible for this, we are responsible for our own backyards...

Hopefully, posters will continue to "pressure" their main stomping grounds to be pro-active before one of their own gets "stiffed."

    Good to hear.

    Hopefully this will either:
A - Convince others to follow suit.

B - Convince BoS management that the money they may save by pinching this player, will pale in comparison to the money they will lose in future post-up's, re-ups.
(nothing has a way of helping a book see the err of their ways, like a dent ion the bankroll)
    or

C - Nothing, but, it may help show some of the other 'watchdogs' true colors..

I really hope they remedy this situation.. would really suck to see they never truley intended to change their ways..

I am one of the few who really thought/thinks BoS has/had a chance to redeem themselves, and win over the betting publics trust again.

This latest debacle sure as Hell won't help that effort.
