    Default Federer or Nadal

Both cruised to easy wins today, though Nalbandian got hurt and had to retire middle of the 3rd set vs. Federer.

I'm very surprised to see how evenly they have set the line in this. Any Nadal bettors to win the tourney have the smallest of arbs on this after he's won 6 matches and I guess the same can be said for Federer. Might as well have waited and just bet the final.

Anyways. Whose streak stays alive? I'm pulling for Federer.

    Thoughts?

Federer was getting killed by Nalbandian before David got injured leading at 6-3, 3-1. Federer is too mentally weak against Nadal for me; he folds like a little bitch out there against him. I'd like him to win, but I'm not betting against Nadal.

Just as with soccer, Im not big on tennis. But here are a couple interesting stats I seen concerning this match.

    • Roger Federer is 0-3 this year against Rafael Nadal and 1-5 overall.
    • Rafael Nadal is 59-0 on clay courts

This is a great story (which is not something I say very often about tennis). Federer is Federer - some project him to be the greatest player of all time - and Nadal is in the midst of the longest clay-court winning streak in history.

I'm picking the clay-court specialist, Nadal.

I think that Nadal could even beat The Great One on a clay court so Federer shouldn't pose that much of a problem.

I didn't get the chance to watch it live but picked it up late online.

I did read however that Federer has dispatched his opponents in an avg of 2hrs and has spent 4 less hours on the court than Nadal for the whole tourney. I believe Federer is in great shape and will have a game plan to beat Nadal this time.

Nadal is unbeatable on clay but something tells me Federer will find a way to win. I thought Federer should of won last time they played on clay. He had 3 match points against Nadal and Nadal prevailed.

Take Federer to upset Nadal in a 5 set match.

I'm not much of a tennis fan, but for the time in many years the top two seeds are meeting in the finals. Federer can not beat Nadal on clay so I will be on Nadal.

boy, that line seems awful low compared to what it has normally been in the last few head-to-head matchups of these two.

Did anyone see their last match on clay. Federer should of won, Nadal escaped 3 match points.

Federer is a solid underdog play and from the looks of it alot of people are betting Federer. The last line between these two on clay as mention was Federer +200.

    i remember watching that match.

your 100% correct. federer just choked down the streach, as he always does in those head-to-head matches.

Looks like it's offered "during changeovers".

I assume that means during commercials only and not at the end of each game?

I think Federer to win 3-2 at +470 is worth a shot.

unfortunately Federer does not have a chance. At this pace he will have over 100 unforced errors in the match.

So no one has beat Federer this year except Nadal who, with this victory, has done it 4 times.

Today we saw it once again. Nadal just owns Federer.

Federer must just have a mental block or something when he plays against Nadal.

For future reference, was Nadal's victories over Federer all on clay?

Nadal has one victory over Roger on hard surface.

I lost some money on Federer today. And was five games short of covering the over 41.5 games because of the first two sets. Federer can't play on court + Nadal as the opponent, looks like a really bad wager.

Still, can't believe the greatest tennis player of our time lost 4 games to that running machine, he should have figured it out how to beat him. I think Roger should have stepped inside the court and take the balls early.Be aggresive. That's his play. He tried that in the 10th and 11th games of the 4th set and had success. The combination of Nadal's quick feet and his left forehand is deadly and crucial for those 60 wins.

Nadal has beaten him twice on hard, going 2-1 on that surface. http://www.atptennis.com/en/players/...&player2=nadal

Can't believe I didn't pull the trigger on Nadal I knew it was over after Roger blew all those BPs at 0-40 Nadal in the 3rd set, down *1-2. You can just see it on the court, Roger has to work extra hard to win points against Nadal and his FH always lets him down against Rafa over the course of an entire match. Same thing happened in Dubai, where Federer opened with one of the great sets in tennis, dominating Nadal, but then falling apart in the final two sets after blowing chances and break points to get the upper hand.

BTW, anybody catch the odds on Nadal after Federer won the first set? I wasn't hope and missed out on that live betting

Yeah but he looked like crap. Not that Federer looked awesome. Deer in headlights is what Nadal was. No emotion. Head down. Very different than normal.

The introduction and warmups was priceless to watch the contrast between the two. That was better than the match IMO.
