Open an account at twinspires.com. As long as you bet some low amount per month (like $50), you get free feeds from just about every track, plus video archive, which is awesome.

Of course, you can't bet Churchill Downs at twinspires.com. Really. Twinspires.com doesn't take bets from Churchill. Other than that, great spot.

And it's U.S.-based and 100 percent legal, so you don't need to worry about getting paid. The rewards program is a little weak, but they do give you something when you bet a lot.

But, it wasn't always that way.
