I disagree. If you are going to hedge you should take whoever you think is going to win with the big money pick. With the spread being that close a ML would not have been a horrible hedge bet

no way i would have picked the game tonight but i couldnt blame the other guys i mean they got pressured into their picks.

its a race to 25

you snooze you lose

the prize could be gone if u dont pick with so many up there...

the guy today should not have picked the game he should have waited but the other losers i cant blame...

they're stupid. When you have a big streak, you sit on it and wait for a good bet. You can't feel pressured into stuff like GB-NO or CAR-ATL or USF-UCONN. All bad bets. I've been sitting on my streak for days, waiting for something reasonable. Mine is only 4, but just trying to go for it all one right after another is foolish and a sure way to lose.

most likely all the people over 22 wins started with 1000 accounts, and they narrowed it down until they had a few accounts starting at 10 wins. No way to get that many without investing all your time and energy into the system. I wouldn't think it's just making solid picks back to back all the time.

someone has been sitting on 24 since sunday.

i was late getting in on this. i didn't play any fantasy sports this past season on espn, so i didn't know it was on there till about a week and half ago.

i'm on a 7 game streak, forgot to put a pick in tonight, i know i won't hit it. 25 is ****ing hard, hell, any people going 20 or more has got my props.

i noticed someone won like 2500 the past month for having the most wins. he had like 47 or 49 wins in a month. he must be picking games all day.
i thought it said if you pick more than one a day the first game has to be completely over before the next pick. i've noticed some soccer games that start around 2-3 in the afternoon , then it's usually b-ball or pucks for 7-8 o'clock.
i guess dude is picking soccer during the day and b-ball and pucks at night.

those guys who hit most wins in a month have to be by a computer and have some luck when it comes to game time ends to get the next game in! some days on saturdays and sundays in the past its been do able to make 5-6 plays in one day!

i'm still stuck on 7. last night before i went to bed i went on and seen they had a golf match going off at 5:30 in the morning so i took the leader vs. the guy in 2nd, well apparently the match got postponed or suspended because of rain, so i got a push.
i just took some soccer match, i took Sturm Graz over Lask Linz, don't know shit about each but looked up and saw Sturm had a better record and won against them earlier in the year 2-0.

I have a streak of 5 and I also picked Sturm even though I have no clue about them. Bodog didn't even have odds listed. I really hope my streak isn't busted on this.

My record is 64-49, which is good considering all the times my streak was at zero and I picked some random soccer match to try and get it started.

well i lost that soccer match 1-0, knew i shouldn't make a pick on some Austrian soccer i know nothing about.duh

i think the contest ends at the end of the month or until someone else hits 25 first. my only shot at winning anything is checking throughout the day and entering as many plays as possible and winning the total wins for the month.

The person at 24 got really lucky with a push on Tampa Bay. His 6th pick should have been on a loss, either by vegas standard or if they waited to finish the game. H'ed be broke now, but instead he's a millionaire. Maybe he's retarded, and he's not spending the past 3 days trying to get a good way just to make sure he gets 1/2 million out of it. I'd be worried about being disqualified for some unknown reason. I just hope the guy who's at 24 now wins it and puts the contest to an end. They haven't done a good enough job advertizing it for me to think it is totally legitimate. Won't believe it until I read an article about the million dollar payout to somebody.

that soccer game just killed me. Still at zero.

Had I had my streak I would've waited for a good one. Oh well.

This guy sat on his pick for over a week. Risky game, but logical choice

He had time where the others did not. As well, he may have wanted to get confirmation regarding his eligibility and then made a substantial hedge bet in Vegas/Offshore. That could take a little time.

If ESPN verified eligibility, I'm sure anyone could get the credit to make a hedge bet.
