Cheap = Excalibur
Medium = Luxor Best = THE HOTEL at Mandalay Bay (All suites, or as JJ would say, suits.) Just my opinion obviously. |

I prefer to stay at the Orleans, just off the Strip. Nice sports/race book, good poker room, cheap rooms, nice people. If you are adamant about the strip, the LV Hilton has the best book, and I've always liked Paris and Flamingo.

Best non-Bellagio MGM hotels would be Mirage (middle/north end of strip) or Mandalay Bay (south strip). So it just depends where you want to stay on the strip. If you are going primarily to be betting on sports than north end of strip is better, since only hotels near Mandalay are Tropicana and other MGM hotels (less choice in odds).

If you are young and can afford it stay at the hardrock, venetian or palms. can't beat the partying and the women.
