For American SBR members - How many of you have NEVER been to another country?
American SBR members:
Have you ever left the USA to visit another country?
If you have been outside the US, did you visit a country other than Mexico or Canada?

Theres some data somewhere that shows the USA has the lowest amount of issued passports per-head out of any country in the develolped world, something along those lines.

Portugal, Italy, England and Australia for me. Next on my list is the Southern Cone of South America, I want to see Aconcagua firsthand and sail a small vessel around Cape Horn.

I can believe that. While some of that is clearly due to the fact that the US probably has more to offer than any other country due to its size, it is still inexcusable for the younger demo in today's day in age not to take a trip abroad here or there.

I've been to Canada, Germany and Hungary for fencing.
I went to Taiwan for a MTG tournament.
And then I've been all over Europe (and in Russia) for random stuff.

I believe this. It is expensive to travel from the US to Europe, Asia or Africa. In Europe (i.e. the rest of the developed world) it is easy to travel to other countries b/c they are the size of Massachusetts and connected by rail.

Leave the US? Why? Just so you can spend the next however long wishing you were back home? Except for legal prostitution and centerfolds in 3rd world countries that sell their pussy for the price of a pack of smokes what's the point? Fly 10 hours to go see some people with 2 cents to their names and buy some of their beads or w/e crap they made hoping some American tourist buys to use as a bookmark so they can feed their kids

I remember my first long trip abroad (3 months in Germany). The best thing I ever ate in my life was a Domino's pizza the night I got home.

Bingo! Finally a lil honesty, everyone thinks freakin Nicaragua and South Africa and other random shitholes are great until they go there and after about 8 hours can't figure out why the fuk they spent money to sit on a plane for hours to get there, US is the best country on earth, it's also enormous hell our states are bigger than some countries so what's the point in going outside the US to some unsafe country that you don't even speak their language

I can't imagine anyone who is more proud to be a Texan and an American than me, and yet my life would not be as full and complete without venturing out of Texas and this country.

I enjoyed getting out the country but have equally enjoyed exploring the United States. I have spent time (i.e. more than a layover) in 38 of 50 states and Texas is definitely in the top 5.
