Default Sportsbook of the Day - WSEX

The purpose of this thread is to post experiences, ratings, rantings and questions on any and all aspects of WSEX (World Sports Exchange).

Definately a fan.. Prompt and accurate payouts.. Fair Lines. The Trader aspect I don't particularly use, but am happy with. Interface is very good, reminds me of an up to date Frontpage Framed interface. Not lots of Java, and refreshing needed.

One of the few drawbacks I find is the slow lines. Noting that I bet Pucks alot, and they were never much for getting the line up sometimes until the day of the playoff game.

I haven't used WSEX since about last October so, although the memories of my experiences there are very good, they are not fresh. But I know there are many people here who consider them a top 5 book so hopefully we can get some up-to-the-minute info. Thanks BetterBizness.

I almost never see a complaint about them.

My strongest memory is of low-juice lines on MLB - they start at 7 cents - which I remember as also having some good opinionation.

WSEX is spectacularly good on Neteller payouts.

A small minus is the drop-down menu they use for on-line wager amounts. I find that most people would prefer to just type in the amount they want to bet and not have to play multiple choice.

They don't offer any standard bonuses but they have had occasional special bonus promos in the past.

I'm a big fan of WSEX and a big fan of the live betting. Very simple to use and can bail you out of losing propositions.

WSEX is a top shelf book. Great future markets that allow you to bet for or against a team or player(golf).

In-progress interactive betting. This has saved me many times. How many times have you said after the game has started, "I am on the wrong side". With interactives, you can bet the right side. lol!

Neteller withdrawls as fast as 2 minutes. Fed-Ex WD's at your door in 3 business days. WSEX gets my highest recommendation.

Do you have an association in any capacity with WSEX other than being just a player?

    Thanks,

    Excellent book.

Quick site, excellent payouts, strong CS, simple layout of website. I will also add: WSEX is the easiest book that I can make a bet on a PDA, which has much less memory than a regular computer.

I will echo one complaint of another writer: the multiple choice betting amounts.

I have heard some people complain that it is old and '90's software. However, if a site looks like WSEX and Pinnacle, I would give it more kudos than a site such as Bodog or SIA.

I love WSEX and sure I have recommended them as much as anybody in the past 7 years on the internet.

Again, what SHIT book am I schilling?

Sexywagers, WSEX, Pinnacle, DSI, CRIS, Matchbook, Cascade, Heritage, BOS, OLY, etc., etc.?????

How is it schilling when I am describing MY PERSONAL experecnce with these books in a 100% honest way???.

Something SBRJOHN, TOW, MARTY, SHRINK, etc., etc very very seldom have done.

Why don't you ask the above individuals how many books they have actually SENT money to??????

Again, get off the shitter please!

    Get off the shitter!

I wouldnt put Sexywagers in my to 40 books currently............but I do play there and like them.

You don't see me running around proclaiming VIP as a TOP THREE book do you??

Why dont you call somebody out that rates VIP a top three book?

Its fu cking ABSURD and 99.3% of ACTUAL players will tell you the samething!!

Fishhead, of course not you dope. What a disgrace you have become. I recommend top quality sportsbooks that have a track record, a history of paying fast. I have built up a trust that posters can look at say, he tells it like it is.

You on the otherhand have destroyed whatever credibility you had. Your non-stop shilling for shady books has become nauseating. Keep on telling people to send money to Sexywagers. Thats what you are now known for. Carry on.

    99.3%?

I presume that you've some scientific basis behind that figure?

I doubt if even 0.7% of LEGIT offshore players would put VIP in their TOP THREE books.

    I was being overly generous.

Having said that, VIP is a very nice shop.

    TOP THREE .......even TEN?

    Give me a break.

Meanwhile you have SHRINK, TOW, and SBR JOHN running around suggesting they are.

    Why?

I seriously hope most of you can answer this question.

So - and this was the main point of my post - the 99.3% was just a made-up and bullshit figure, right?

OK, since you're still touting your percentages, please can you provide some data to back up your figures? (If you've not already realised, I'm accusing you of picking random figures out of your head).

Well, at TheRX, posters are asked to vote on their TOP FIVE sportsbooks and they are given points on a 5-4-3-2-1 scale.

VIP scored a TOTAL of 3 points........TOTAL........and NOBODY put them in their TOP THREE, so 100% of those that voted did not put them in their TOP THREE.

As I stated, think I was generous saying 99.3%.

    OK, we're getting somewhere, Fishhead.

However, your original statement was that only "0.7% of LEGIT offshore players" would put VIP in their top 3 books. Then you went and gave me some figures from RX posters.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I really wouldn't think that RX posters would be a totally repesentative sample of offshore players in general.

    You don't get it, Fishhead.

I'm saying that the RX forum isn't fully representative of the "LEGIT offshore players". By the same measure, I don't think the SBR forum is either.

Forum players are a very small % of the player pool. You would expect them to choose books that fir their style.

Its like having the Presidental poll only in Massachusetts and declaring a landside victory for John Kerry.

    Silly arguement.

    Back to original topice WSEX

The drop down and one click confirm is a plus.
Quick payouts though only processed during weekdays and must be in by 8am est to get processed that day.
    The in-running is sweet

1 drawback I've had happen several times is the lack of the amount available automatically changing when a bet is placed.
Example: Several times I've tried to get a bet in at halftime and I see "rejected" due to line movement only to find out later that it was actually accepted, however in the meantime I've made a bet with them at a worse line and now I have double the amount risked that I wanted to.

Lack of props and alternate bets on baseball are a minus as well.

Overall though I like WSEX a lot.

May I suggest this Cardplayer cover article and interview if you haven't read it yet:

On a serious note, they do not get enough credit for all of the energy and resources they commit to fighting for this industry. Up until now, only a very few fight. Hopefully other operations will come around soon, we'll see.

Web site was designed by someone who didn't have a computer, didn't like computers, and wanted the thing to be idiot proof. I think he did a pretty good job.

Haha!! Yea that original website was idiot proof with its 3 frames. The original WSEX and SBR sites were neck and neck for the funkiest sites back in the day.

I loved getting interest on my money in my WSEX account! I wish WSEX still had that.

I can say from my expierence that there are good and down to earth people in this operation. Hard working and passionate too.

WSEX always did things different and most the time better than the hard core 3 generation bookies. I remember hearing bookies say that WSEX's then new in-game betting, more like option trading on expiration day, would never work.

One of the first and one of the elite: WSEX

Have to echo other's people's comments on their customer service. Their CS is the best in the industry as far as I'm concerned. They've always been helpful, gracious, and timely with me unlike other books that leave you hanging on live chat for 10 minutes and then ask what'd you ask again.

I CANNOT imagine ANYBODY on these internet forums not having an account there.
