Why are black atheltes better than whites? I think a read something that blacks bodys mature faster, thats why you dont see a bunch of 80+ year old black people.

When you watch college basketball, its 80% black if not more.

Like I said, Im not raciest. Ive been with a few black females and have black friends, and they are all good at basketball. Anyone have any clue why it is this way?

Blacks were slaves for many years, they were bred to be able to physically provide free labor for the lazy, rich white people. That carries on in their genetic structures for future generations.

I think it came from only the strongest being able to reproduce when they were enslaved. White slave owners would want strong slaves so they would use strong black males like breeding animals. Hence why a large portion of black people are good at sports or whatever. I actually think basketball might be getting whiter now to be honest. Seems like more white kids are becoming big time college recruits now

Keep in mind that the countries that most black ancestors come from are countries in which physical prowess is a matter of function and not aesthetic. African-American ancestors had to hunt, run, jump etc. to stay alive in the unforgiving terrain. Even though the bloodline may have thinned out a bit over the years, the genetic response is still there, albeit less than it was say 50 years ago. Keep in mind also, that in an ecomically depressed area, sports is considered a way out of the community. Doing ANYTHING ad nauseum will make you good at it. The point about there not being alot of good black hockey players holds merit to my point. As far as their being more caucasions (sp) in the NBA, keep in mind they are from Europe where the social structure is different here than it is there.
