Default Do You Think Sportbetting Is Getting Hurt By Economy?

I do not, gambling does not suffer much and plus for the most part it is a low end item.

sportsbooks are hurting right now. the causes are probably several. but many are becoming quite aggressive in cutting back limits and offerings. it's quite sad.

from what i gather, bookies are not only impacted by the change in customer behavior, but some of them also rely on credit to repay debts for expanding shop network etc. i would say the least affected are internet bookies, who don't need to run a lot of real world operation.

i noticed more people are gambling now in the form of scratch tickets. wouldn't surprise me if they were betting sports with the local bookie or offshore. you need discipline to win at sports and most people don't have it.
