Wouldn't be surprised.

Cut shrink in for a percentage and he'd do just about anything, no matter how seedy.

One of their paid posters said everyone steals/trades/sells their email lists and included SBR in his list. I simply corrected him. The fact is we do not. SBR has never sent any spam or ads and has never given our list to anyone for any reason. Not that we are saints we just dont believe in email marketing or letting others spam our community. Theferfore, we have no interest in stealing/trading/selling our memebrs information.

Email pirates/hackers can vacum up email addresses from the softwares database. Its like fighting the DDOS guys you can stop them until they figure a way around. Our firewalls try to prevent this activity. Some of these lists floating around the internet are from these pirates. Hopefully sickler you never get a spam to that email but if you do please let us know.

All you do guys is sent a virus e-mail back without an attachment and say you want to sign up for the service, I put url links in my e-mail that red direct to infect their computers and they are done!!! It is real simple and you can pay a programmer like $50 to destroy someone's pc just by sending an e-mail back to a tout saying your interested, ect.

I tested out the EOG e-mail scam and it is 100% true, I signed up with numerous fake e-mails and all of them I got sportsbook spam and affiliate links to their books with Shrink code in the e-mail.

what if we talk shit about a book or give our opinion of a book, and someone from that book asks SBR about info for the poster with such-n-such screen name, does SBR give up our info then?

No.

Posters can rip a book to shreds if they want, personal opinions are welcomed. You'll never see any edited posts about sportsbooks.

They know better than to even ask. You can look up top and its no shock not every top shelf book supports this forum. The ones that do understand there are no ad threads like everywhere else and they dont get any memeber info. If they dont like it they can go advertise elsewhere.

What posters need to be careful about is ID'ing themself. For example a guy posts he is having a hard time with xyz book over a $2200 payout. Well, books read this forum all the time and xyz simply sees who they are jacking for $2200 and bingo.

With all due respect John, you are misinformed. I am not a paid employee of EOG. I know most forums are involved in the distribution of email lists, so I assumed this one was too. My apologies, but I was merely trying to make a point that personal info is never safe and completely private.

Richie.........YES

Only though if you catch them giving you two sides to a game

Example Richie:

I have 2 different phone numbers one from the east coast and one from the west coast and I call Tout A from the East Coast #and he gives me Illini +6.5 tonight and then 20 minutes alter call from the west coast # and he gives me Vandy -6.5.

That is fraud and you can get 10 years for that

Most touts use this practice

best thing to do is hire someone that knows how it gets done and then to correct the problem.

Opps I apologize as well.

Its very hard to get 1st hand info on who is.

Yes I did also mention that email info can at times be lifted as well unless the site is using a secure server. We did at one time have one but it presents many performance challenges.

Its really not that hard at all... Mofo has came out and admitted who was being paid many times.... SBR on the other hand has not... Its funny when Mo was working here you guys had him "ghost" as We Eat Fish and a couple other names...

Actually 5 start EOG's mods and Ken and Journey have had and have many active ghosts. Do a search over there. Type in ghosts and you will see they have been outed many times. Mo explained why he set up that name search his name if you are really curious. I know these days with SBR's traffic way above EOG they tend to cry foul instead of admitting what is easy to verify namely real traffic counts. Its not ghosts and its not smoke and mirrors, its a better product.

I will say that I never got any emails whatsoever from sportsbooks, only the one I play at.... When SBR was down for those few days, I made an account at EOG and now every day and I get spammed with at least 10 different emails from sportsbooks.... I just delete them right away....

I'd tell a policeman. I'd also tell a policeman when someone uses a $21 bouncing cheque at Walmart.
