Money.

Matchbook has the best line more often than any other book. I place more bets there than anywhere else. Line-shopping is everything.

Matchbook is money.

not a good book for me, the most value for me is 1st and 2nd half lines, buying points and props.

thats what i was worried about, but it seems that you CAN buy that point, you just have to find someone to match it...but the problem is, if you want a game that, say is at 2.5 solid, but you want it at 3 you have to find someone that is going to match it or you don't get action on it. Am I understanding this correctly..or do enough people,(and stupid people) play on that site that you almost always get the line that you want?

...hands down 90% of the time you will get the better number at matchy than you will anywhere else ....now the key is you must have other outs in case you cant get the number you want

i play everyday and i will tell you that 90% of my action is either on that site or a local that i have that never moves his line

my question has been answered, thanks guys..this place isn't the book for me...i'd rather pay the small diff in juice for no hassle...seriously...sitting around 5 min before a game not getting a play in, or not knowing...wouldn't be able to handle it.

Its like somebody else said. You need an account at matchbook because you will get the best price 90% of the time there. You also need accounts at other places in case you want to buy a point or play props. You know you can have accounts at more than one book. You don't even need to make an offer half the time at matchbook to get the best line. Its already available. If you get a matchbook account, then for full game sides, ML bets, and totals you will find that you use matchbook the vast majority of the time and your other accounts will become stagnant. Unless you are looking to bet NHL haha.

Matchbook is by far the best thing going for american bettors.

You don't sit around not knowing. You can take the available bets and they are usually already better than what is available elsewhere. Or you can try to get an even better number, then you need to make an offer and hope it gets taken.

Lets put it this way, matchbook already has the best number the majority of the time. The difference is that at matchbook you have the ability to try to get an even better number instead of at a regular book you do not have that option.

Also for live betting matchbook is by far the best place to bet. This in my opinion blows props and teasers and parlays out of the water by itself.

It depends what bets you are looking for of course.

Personally, I design my betting around Matchbook. When I am deciding what angles to research, I start with the idea that it has to be something Matchbook is good for. That is usually full game spreads, totals and ML's on major North American sports.

For certain sports - particularly MLB and NFL - if you have Matchbook and a good strategic selection of other books, you have close to juice free betting. You only need to find small edges to have a long-term profit.

The problem there is depositing at all.

No e-checks
no Moneygram
no WU

You have to transfer in from another book, or use a bankwire ( I refuse to do that).

I think they are in decline, need some competent management.

Good Book = Best number on game day 90% of the time

Bad Book = Cannot bet openers, which is usually where the best value lies

Not my favorite because of those commission credits. Just give me free deposit/withdrawl, then maybe.
