If SBR had an all-star baseball team
The players and positions would be:
Pat Venditto - Pitcher
Guy has shown incredible technique in previous vids and needs a pitcher's salary to pay off his gambling debts. Cannot hit worth shit, though, so hopefully we have a DH for him.
Nicky Santoro - Catcher
Guy is built like a truck and would be so furious if you tried to steal he'd throw a phuckin' bullet to 2nd base. Would also hit at least 2 HR every game.
SlickFazzer - 3rd Base
Despite never getting there, I'd put Slicker at 3rd base. He is as reliable as any, always knows what's going on, and is a solid hitter.
jjgold - Shortstop
Guy is super quick on his feet. Have you seen his boxing vids? Guy has incredible hands too. Nothing would get past him.
compaqdikk - 2nd Base
Him and jj make a great duo around 2nd base. compaqdikk is such a thief he will steal home every chance he gets, even against right-handed pitchers.
Richkas - 1st Base
Need him on 1st to talk trash to anyone who gets on base. Also, this is closest position to dugout so he can throw his empty beer cans away discretely without leaving them on the field.
VegasDave - Left Field
Just to see his blubber jiggle when he runs.
RogueJuror - Center
Between pitches he would do some of his haka chanting or whatever the phuck it is. Would get the fans excited and scare the other team. Very fast runner but cannot throw worth a damn, unfortunately. Need compaqdikk to be the cut-off man every time.
Deuce - Right Field
Couldn't catch a fly ball unless he had the world's biggest mitt. Guess he will have to use his girlfriend's. Only reason this guy is on team is for power hitting. And to become the first NHL/pro baseball player in history.
Ganchrow - Manager
Would be crunching numbers in his head constantly to maximize performance. Definitely could not throw BP though.
pico - Water Boy
Need to make him feel important. Can beat the shit out of him if he spills a drop, tiny little asian bugger.
Durito - Mascot
He'd be dressed up as whatever the phuck his avatar is. Would go well with RogueJuror's haka chanting.
Suggestions??

Hmmm, while I do recall from the bash that Pico is Asian, I certainly don't remember him being a 'little bugger.'
I've still got a knuckler, curve and a decent fastball, and it's been about 15 years since my last starting assignment, so I'm well-rested to possibly join the rotation

You will need to detox one week before your first start, Willie.

But math.com, haven't you ever read about how a few hurlers such as Pete Alexander and Rube Waddell were actually better when they were well-marinated? Very intimidating for a batter if they can smell whiskey on the pitcher from over 60 feet away, and the first pitch sails in high & tight. No way they dig in at that point.

I'd be fine as a cheerleader, but I'd also like to volunteer for DH if we're playing in a league with a DH rule. I can hit for power or for contact, I just can't throw worth a damn after my accident. It seems that that trait goes part and parcel with the Rogue nicknames.

How about some rotation with Robyn, Nina and Teela? They could flash the infielders just when it looks like one of our rallies is being shortened by a DP grounder.

mathy,
i am not very happy with you as head coach..you did a decent job, but not a great one.. i will now fix your lineup so we can build a winner here.
first of all, we need to hire a good GM and that GM is going to be Vegas Dave.. this kid knows baseball inside out.. Plus, i want him out of left field.. we need some speed and Vegas Dave does not have much range out there. He's too slow.. and Panner will make a great Assistant GM.. he is very knowledgeable.
we will leave you for now as head coach, but if you continue to make bad moves like this, we will have no choice but to replace you with Bigboydan.. He'd make a great Head Coach.
Richkas has no business being at 1st base.. this guy has never even swung a bat or put on a glove before. he has no mobility out there and is a horrible athlete.. I am taking over 1st.. I got great hands and i can pick up any short hop from any base. I was called scoop, by my teammates. there is nothing i can't pick out of the dirt, and i move well from my left or right.. We can stick richkas as our waterboy.
I want to put Plommer at catcher. he's a great athlete and we can use his power at the plate, too.
I want Rogie out of that lineup and out of centerfield. Have you seen this guy's swing? omg.. he swings like a girl.. just look at his vid. this guy in the lineup would hurt us big time.. we will replace him with Onner. Onthewhat has tremendous speed and would handle himself well in center field..
the rest seem ok for now, good job.. with this starting lineup, i just dont see SBR losing too many games..

Nicky you don't talk shit to your manager. You're out of the lineup for a week. In the mean time, go get the rest of some some cole cuts pal.

I coach little league and I found that flashing isn't much of a motivator.
I'll give it a shot, Willie, but no promises. On the other hand, I think most of these guys have hit puberty.

not bad..
i had no idea venditto was in lineup. if that's the case.. we got to have him lead off. he's young and has tremendous speed. .he's a player and probably is quick with his 113 lb body.. (pitchers can lead off here)
we need to have Vegas Dave bat 9th.. he hardly walks and is just a singles hitter. he doesnt get on base too much and is slow on the base pads..
the rest seem good..
thanks nina
