so its safe to say I know the ins and outs of casinos....

I only speak from experience....THERE ARE COOLERS IN CASINOS

not saying they are paid by the casino to bring bad luck....

A cooler can be bad luck and not even know it...in some cases

but let me tell you...without going into detail...Ive seen them first hand

dealers at tables...the ones the house brings in when a table is hot

people walking by tables and looking over the top...BAD LUCK

people doing 'things' around a hot table...bad etiquette...I dont need to provide examples

next time you visit a casino...and you are doing good...then all the sudden...you start getting killed...look around you...odds are...you just been cooled





p.s. when I say "no rookie votes" I mean no votes from people who have never been inside of a casino for more than 5 mins...only votes from players...oh...and coolers arent just limited to casinos...they can be found at racetracks and on offshore gambling forums...lmfao

I voted that there is no such thing but that is not exactly right. There probably is such thing - but it is borne strictly out of air-headedness.

Any real gambler in this day and age has dropped that superstition and hocus pocus side of things. And any modern casino should also be far too sophisticated. I'm sure that is where Monkeyfocker was coming from.

But I voted wrong. There is no shortage of dippiness in the world of gambling. So there probably still are coolers (as well as people trying voodoo, and lucky charms and everything like that.) None of it actually effects anything but there are undoubtedly people dopey enough to believe it does.

I'm quite the skeptic but I've been convinced that casino games cannot be beat, because they are mathematically designed to favour the house - ALWAYS.

The "illusion" of winning at the casino is very powerful, I can tell you're a victim yourself just by reading your posts regarding this subject.

A casino doesn't need a "cooler" , it has math/probability on its side and its good business for people to win every now and then, keeps them coming back.
