Default Going to Vegas this week. Need advices and tips!!

    Heading to vegas this weekend.

Staying at ballys and going ALL over vegas, the strip and the old vegas.

I need some tips and advices boys.

Where to go for some good sports booking.

Good low limit like 5 dollar minimum bet casinos to go to

More importantly, places to go for food, drinks and activities!

All kinds of help will be welcomed!

    Thanks boys!

Check out SouthPoint. It's a real nice place, has $5 tables and absolutely the hottest waitresses in Vegas. Every single one of 'em is hot, not a dog in the bunch and the service is great. I've always done well playing Craps there, they have some of highest odds tables for craps in Vegas, but no Fire bets on their tables though. Probably the best all-around service of the places I've been to. Did I mention that the waitresses are hot? They all wear bustiers and short skirts.....

The sandwich place at Bally's makes a pretty mean sandwich. The Italian sausage or meatball subs are the best, perfect late night snack when you're stumbling back to your room.

Sam and I ate here and it was amazing for the price. My friend and I later went to Yellowtail at Bellagio which is rated the best sushi in Vegas and the quality was slightly better for double/triple the price.

Monitor-Tan, have a blast out there. It's definitely the greatest place on Earth. If you're looking for low stakes, hit up Fremont Street. You should find some good low stakes tables down that way, although the Blackjack at Binion's paid 6:5 on a natural last time I was there which I didn't like.

Down on the strip, the Circus Circus has cheap gambling and is a lot of fun. Hooters is also a good spot to catch some $5 Blackjack and great wings.

Also can't go wrong with the Las Vegas Hilton sportsbook. I actually saw $5 Blackjack at the Hilton during the day as well, for what it's worth.

Not sure if you've been to Vegas before or not, but make sure you pick up either a monorail or a 'Deuce' bus pass. The transit runs around the clock and will get you anywhere you need to go. $7 for 24 hours last time I was there (April).

    Good luck!

Do what I did when I visited Vegas for the first.

Before you go to your room put $6 on number 6 at the craps table.

You should have seen the people look at me when I cashed and went to my room.

    Have fun dude.

    LOL!!

That reminds me of the one time I went to bally's (atlantic city) I went with my and my friend and took 750. Was playing Blackjack all night and I was down to my last 35 dollars.. Me and my friend were heading towards the garage. Stopped at the last roulette table.. I decided to put it on old kobe number, put it on 8.. When the ball was rolling I turned around, then I heard my friend scream OH SHIT! and it hit hahahah.

Sportsbook place, I had plenty of luck at the MGM Grand.
I also turned $5 into $73 at their slot machines.
Bellagio has some good $5 tables. My friends got buried though, lol.
If you like Seafood buffets, then got to the Rio which is on the other side of the freeway from the strip, and about $40 but it is worth it if you are hungry.

Impossible not to have fun in Vegas, wherever there is a casino around. But, don't expect to be treated like royalty if you're betting sports, walk up to a craps table with $50k they'll take care of you

For a soft poker room try Bally's, where you are staying. You can run into some real donkeys there.

For lunch one day try the Grand Lux Cafe at either the Venetian or Palazzo.

Orleans is a good spot of the strip. 7.99 great lunch buffet....champagne included on the weekends....5 dollar match play when you sign up for bconnected card.

As a local I always cringe when tourists give advice on where to go in Vegas. Everybody has different tastes, but if you're only in town for a weekend and you
    Check out SouthPoint
you should have your Vegas license revoked.

For sports betting, the best place to watch a game is the Palazzo. It's so much more comfortable than other books that you can say with close to 100% accuracy anyone who claims another book is the best for sweating games has almost certainly never been to the Palazzo book. For betting the game, the Cantor owned books (Trop, M, Cosmo, Hard Rock), Hilton, and Wynn are the best in the strip area.

The Bally's poker room is smoky, has a high rake, and the staff sucked when I last played there a few years ago. It will do for 1/2NL, but for bigger games, more table selection, and a nicer atmosphere head to Wynn or Venetian.

For free slot play iirc deals are being run currently at Trop, TI, Cosmo, and Casino Royale. If you sign up for a Harrah's players card you'll get free show tickets to see Mac King.

Thanks for all the great advice. No it's not for just the weekend. I'm going there for the whole week from the 25th (tomorrow) to the 30th.

More great advice will be helpful.

Ian, what does iirc deal mean?

Get the unadvertised $7 steak at Mr. Luckys at Hard Rock. Best cheap place to eat around hot girls. Ellis Island is another place for those on a budget.

Southpoint is too far away from strip to bother with.

Iirc = if I recall correctly

Ian- Cantor will be running Venetian/Pallazzo books very soon if they aren't doing so yet.

If you are going all over the strip and old Vegas bring plenty of cash. You will need to pay for cabs or limo since they are a dozen miles apart.

Yeah i dunno how to go back and forth from the old vegas to the strip.. I think while on the strip I get the monorail pass..

I'm 99% sure they haven't changed yet because the lines I saw there yesterday weren't Cantorish. Even though I like Cantor, it will be a sad day when they take over the Adelson and Harrah's books.

Grits nailed it. If I remember/recall correctly

If you like live sports you should consider checking out one of the boxing cards on the 29th. Boxing is imo the best sport to watch live, there's nothing quite like seeing blood get splattered out of the ring, and there are two very good, inexpensive shows that night. There's a light heavyweight title fight at South Point with tickets starting at $25. At the same time on the strip there's a Friday Night Fights taping at Cosmopolitan with tickets starting at $20. The Cosmo card is probably better top to bottom, but I'll be watching the world title fight at South Point.

    Have a great trip!
