If that's the case I admire your integrity. I personally don't see it any differently to any other service that I can't carry out myself. If I've got a leaky tap I call a plumber, if my car needs work I use a mechanic and if I wanted picks ( which I don't ) I'd use a tout. To me it's just another trade in the sevice industry I don't use.

Well, unlike plumbers and mechanics, I find touts to be utterly useless.

All they do is make up their records and promise things they can't deliver. Brandon Lang is a perfect example. When you read his site, you'll think the guy is Nostradamus because he touts only his past winning picks. But what he won't tell you is that he has lost over 2000 Dimes since 2006. So if your normal bankroll is $5000, he has cost you $100,000... not including the $1600 he charges for his picks.

But that's what these touts do, they manipulate their records and even erase them whenever they go on long losing streaks. They are the biggest frauds in any business. This is why I always tell everyone to learn to cap themselves so they don't get taken in by these scam artists.

Dsethi was a good poster but not long for tout world. He ran significantly hot at CBB parlays, and decided to strike while he had peoples interest and charge for bases which he knows nothing about. Just a money hungry chump like any other poster.

I agree, I wouldn't try to argue that most aren't unethical but there are people out there who still use them despite everything they've heard about them, so with that being the case someone may as well take their money because not only do they know nothing about what they're betting on, they're also stupid.

I am with Dagger here, and it is why I went native in "Football Jesus" thread.

They are dishonest. They play games with their records, and Football Jesus is just my example. That douche posts using different names, touting games that he never made public, with no ability to have his record documented. Then he asks the sheep to pay him for going 3-5. He even posted that his "free" picks don't count, but uses his free picks when he hits them. Oyyy.

I will also agree with English somewhat . If someone is dumb enough to pay for losing picks then they get what they deserve. If a person is dumb enough to hand over their money, with no chance of getting those fees back, or making a profit..then it is natural selection, it is trimming of the herd. Evolution has to kick in at some point, and these idiots need to realize they can find better selections free of charge, or they can do their own work. One way or another, they need to learn a lesson.

I did follow Helmut's plays when he posted on LVA. He did move the lines significantly and I don't remember his exact winning percentage but I did follow his plays for about 2 months and I did very well. Then again 2 months is not a long enough period to evaluate someones plays.

And in regards to Dsethi. He was running really hot with his college basketball and I followed him as well. Thankfully I stopped tailing him once he went tout.

Not defending the guy, but there were many times interesting moves on the cbb totals, right after he posted them at LVA the past couple of years.

you would have to research the archives there to make your own opinion.
