Default Looking For SBR Investors

I am going to try and open up a donut shop in Newark, is anyone willing to invest? I need 75k.

This is not a scam, real serious here. I need an idea on how many guys will invest, all legal and all documents will be available and business will be watched by My Attorney and a CPA. I think you guys are solid so letting you in on the ground floor.

Thanks

Open one near Brentcrude and you'll be retired in 6 months.

You'd have to open it inside his apartment.

Lots of variables, I would have to hear a business plan before I threw any money into it but it would definitely be something to consider....

Donuts is such a tough market being dominated on the East Coast by Dunkin Donuts and now Time Hortons as well. You would need to offer something that these other companies can't in the area. Maybe serving Seattle's best coffee (assuming that there is no other place in the area that serves that) or something of that nature that will get people in the door. Just a mom and pop donut stand is not really going to get it done especially in the market as people are cutting back on unneeded spending.

That is just my 2 cents.....

Where in Newark JJ? Also, you should be aware (or your attorney should be) that getting investors might involve the sale of securities that should be registered with the NJ Bureau of Securities... The office is on Halsey...

JJ, let me take a look at the business plan and I'll tell you my level of interest. I'll warn you though, living in Portland for many years, I already feel as though I've been a customer to the best donut shop in the world. Take a look at VooDoo:

http://voodoodoughnut.com/menu.php

Pay close attention to the third picture down on the left, the Breakfast of Champions Donut. A regular maple bar topped with bacon. You haven't lived until you've had one in the morning with a 40oz of Schlitz Bull Ice. Were I a condemned man, those two items would definitely be part of my request for a last meal.

But seriously, I'm always open to being a part of entrepreneurship. My compliments for thinks outside the box. Best of luck tonight and thanks for all the great posts.

If its on Raymond down by Halsey and Washington that's a great area for a Doughnut shop. Lots of courts, cops, prudential down there... I don't know the rest of Raymond tho.

Could be the ultimate dilemma for him if the cashier was a black Obama supporter.
