Had a close one the other night. Had Kings/Suns game U207. Was going way under into the 4th quarter. Ended up being tied 86-86. Luckily it still went under in OT, but Kings had 4secs left and only needed 2 pts to keep it going. So I survived that one, but...

#2) I got phucked last year in an almost identical situation. I pounded my fist so hard on the desk it phuckin snapped in half. Turned out it wasn't real wood; inside was sort of like cardboard with just a wood covering. The fact that I snapped it pissed me off so much (and my computer and speakers and shit collapsing with it to the ground) that I started smashing the rest of it, throwing it across the room. It was in like 500bits by the time I was done with it. Took me hours to clean it up.

#1) Team I had in pucks managed to give up a 5 goal lead to lose the game in OT. It was a hot summer day so had balcony door wide open. I picked up this lamp in the corner and bashed it against the TV and then threw it off the balcony (5 storeys). Girlfriend I was living with at the time comes running into room wondering wtf is going on. Turns out the lamp was a gift from her grandmother before she died.

Not the first girl I lost due to gambling and won't be the last. Lamp was an ugly piece of shit, and she let herself go to, so maybe that wasn't such a bad beat after all.

First I broke the T.V ....then I called the girl I was supposed to meet and cancelled on her so I went to the bar, got fvcked on a bottle of patron and then to punish myself more I called 2 escorts and torchered them for my misery and as those two girls were leaving my house the girl I cancelled on showed up pissed that I ditched her and saw them leaving ....probably will not hear from her again

there were so many punches thrown in my 25 years of marriage I dont remember. But I remember this one happening, I was going down the highway in my truck. I had just bought a cheap radio and had it hooked up laying on my floorboard. I was listening to a NFL game and they kicked a fg to win it in ot. I reached down and was going to throw the radio out the window and she grabbed it and wouldnt give it to me, so I slugged her, grabbed the radio and threw it out the window.

Right on, Richie. You purchased the radio, making it your property. If you were so frustrated that you needed to hurl it out the window at 55 miles an hour, I say you had every right to, littering statutes notwithstanding. Why couldn't she just let you toss it and comfort you through your anger at the circumstances of the game? She wanted to be in control of the situation, and I think we can all agree that control has its costs.

I had a similar experience although I was in the car alone. I was driving through the countryside in my old Buick Regal, with a pop-up camping trailer in tow. I'd stopped to refill the beast and while I was at the gas station I bought one of those 40oz carbonated wine concoctions to drink on the rest of the drive to the campground. All the Buick had was the original AM radio and I turned it on to hear the end of an A's game that I had the Under on.

Of course the ninth inning refused to end, and when my bet lost I started screaming and pounding the seat. I knew that my wine was getting agitated, but since it was my first experience with carbonated bum wine, it didn't occur to me that I was making a larger mess for myself than a lost wager.

I found an oldies station playing a Sinatra tune and started to calm down, reached for my wine and uncapped it in my lap, at which point I experienced what can only be described as a bum wine shower. Thinking about the stench this was causing, I just rolled down the window and tossed the bottle out the window, at a little less than 30 MPH. My speed, or lack thereof, showed itself to be a problem because the broken glass popped the left tire on my trailer. It was an inconvenience, but luckily Johnny Q. Law let me change the tire and go on my merry way without so much as a glance.

I think the moral of the story is that listening to a game on the radio is dangerous...especially if you're drinking or travelling with another person. I hope other people learn from these stories and just leave the radio off.
