Sportsbooks using hot chicks for advertising
I remember in the early days of this forum we had a discussion about this and I was surprised at how vehemently against this a lot of people were.
Personally I think it's fine. I'm never unhappy to see a pretty girl. I just say, "Ah - nice," and then move on. To be honest, I can't remember what exactly the big objection was.
So I thought I would revisit the topic.

it's a great marketing tool for books i'll give you that. although, is that really going to matter to the advance players out there.
I think not !
the more advanced type players are looking for the best prices out there, no matter what shows on the site.

How about SexyWagers.com promoting a contest presently in which the winner, plus one guest, "will be flown to Los Angeles to attend the filming of a real porn movie"

I think its stupid!
Bottom line: It costs players money to give these pseudo "pretty woman" money. I would rather see better lines or better bonuses than some high priced "ho" on my betting pages!
I also find it insulting; many of these books believe all of us gamblers are so "pitiful" that we will join and/or stay because they have "pretty woman" blazing their pages, its ridiculous.
I want to gamble, not look at pictures that some a-hole determines to be both beautiful and effective in persuading players to play, absurd!
Get rid of the woman and provide a better service versus spending money on "pretentious, self-absorbed picture Ho's". I can get that need fullfilled other "places"!

I didn't think much of the BetOnStars effort, either. Instead of paying models to pose for them, I guess that they used the money to pay them players instead.
Or possibly not.

As a designer, pretty girls are used just to decorate a website.
Like in the office, when you hire a stupid bimbo to make coffee and write letters.
Most books download pictures from the internet.
Some other books pay models, but compared to the full marketing budget it's not that much.
