Interestingly enough, 51.4% is in the green, albeit very slightly, for the -105 bettor.

And I expect to get both of those up; the season isn't over yet my friend.

As long as Dave just does this as a hobby and for enjoyment he is ok, if he was betting his picks heavy he would get buried like the rest of us. He is a good guy and likes betting.

assuming your even able to get those lines...most people even when they do reduced juice still end up averaging -110 or higher considering they buy points to get off a number more so than they make on ML dog picks...or dog picks at +100 juice.

You just told me that 51.4% is in the green when getting -105 or -110 juice.

/laughs

You need 52.4% but I bet you didn't know that. Thats to break even. Most people would recommend saying 53% due to the way lines can fall to average if there season was "green" or "red".

First of all, I know -105 isn't all that common, but with reduced juice, matchbook, etc, it is attainable. And again, I wouldn't expect anyone to bet every single game I pick. I'm just putting my picks out there...

But please don't call me out with poor math. I NEVER said it was in the green for -110, I said it was for -105... look:

Lets do some math.

51.4 X 100 = 5140
48.6 X 105 = 5103

Note how the top number is higher, ALBEIT VERY SLIGHTLY?

Using my record heading into today...

127 - 120

127 X 100 = 12700
120 X 105 = 12600

$100 GREEN.

I'm not saying 51.4 is a good %, I need to get that up no doubt about it.

What I am saying is feel free to make fun of the way I look or my picks if that makes you feel big, but do not call me out and say I don't understand the numbers. I am a numbers person first and foremost and understand odds and break even points perfectly well. So don't try and "school me" on that.

That is assuming your playing -105 lines on average, which you aren't. You cannot lay decent weight on any pick and get -105 or better. Not for a average play. Not with buying off 3.5, 7, 7.5, 10.5, 14.5 or figuring on ML dog plays.

That right there makes you a joke. You don't understand the numbers, and the simple fact that you try to make my comments on this thread as a personal attack against yourself is funny. I have not personally attacked you. I'm telling you saying 51.4% is a positive season is a joke.

Can't handle it go back to your parents basement.

anyone who says they average -105 lines on there bets is lying. Reduced juice is nice, but you cant say you average -105 juice on all of your bets. Books would not be in business if this was the case.

They offer it for certain amounts, some games its a very attractive option, but its not there ALL of the time. Its not there for guys betting 500.00 a game. Matchbook is harder to deposit into and unless its a saturday or sunday its liquidity is hard to justify on some sports.

Wow...

Please find me a post where I said that I get -105 lines consistantly? Or at all?

I've been very honest about the fact that I don't bet at all because I don't have any money. You are right, I don't get -105 lines... I don't get -110 lines either. I don't get any lines, because I don't gamble when I don't have any money.

Where on earth did I say I GET -105 LINES? Where?

Dude, we are in agreement, 51.4% is not enough to win. I just said "IRONICALLY ENOUGH" (that was supposed to indicate I wasn't being all that serios), the -105 bettor would be in the green. But you are right, that is rare.

Please find me a post that I said I was winning money or I was getting -105? I never did dude...

What is your problem with me? I just try my best to pick winners. It isn't going all that well these days, but I'm trying my best. I've never attacked you or said a mean thing about you or said I was making money or anything of the sort. Why do you hate me so much?

No, I haven't, and I've never claimed that I have.

Last time I bet was week 1 when I went all on on Rice -4.5/Over 70 on the Rice SMU game. That won, I doubled up, and cashed out.

I'll put out a video tonight a little more about me and why I can't bet right now (money)... stay tuned for that.

First of all I have never made a personal attack against this kid. I've told him simply 51.4% isn't getting it done. And I've gone as to why I think its not... Which you can like, hate dislike I don't care.

Vegas Dave does not bet his own picks... Yet he makes close to 300 of them!!!!!
