Man, seems like some kind of infectious parasite came into this place and wiped alot of people out.

Good to have you back Dead Money. Hopefully your presence revives the way things were during the old days. I was also gone for a spell (on important business) and came back and found things very slow much to my surprise.

Unfortunately the sad state here is a result of certain posters that have deteriorated the quality of dialogue and debate. You'll fondly recall I am sure the those nascent days of SBR where spirited debate and discourse were the norm on a variety of gaming theory topics not to mention the occassional off-topic humor. That no longer is the case my friend as posting has become more political and contentious. There is seemingly nary a thread where things don't seem to get out of control b/c of these "problem posters." One of those aforementioned problem posters was a complete racist to put it mildly. While all the other SBR posters were to scared and incompetant to confront him, I challenged him head on and he and I had several battles for the better part of the past month. We both went at it hard but ultimately I was able to get rid of him once and for all this past weekend for the greater good of the forum. As of now, I am working on getting rid of a few other "problem posters" so we can once revive the old state of the forum.

Some posters do not bet on anything but football, so they took the summer off. I feel this is the slow time of the year, and we should pick back up around August, just in time for Preseason NFL. I do welcome everyone to join in discussion in the coming months.
