Bill, no way. I just now tracked and every move I saw we had you by 10-15 seconds minimum. I was watching College Football. I setup my screen to have the 10 books you had and beat it to every move.

I dont know, they look right on top each other to me. I like being able to see the come back on both sides of the line. Seems like this free version is going to cause problems for the pay services.

I dont believe the free services will be any trouble for the pay services. An island or a bookmaker cant work just off a free lines screen. There is so much more invovled. Also, if you are looking at both (its tough because theirs isnt in rotation order) you will see them miss updates and be slower on the rest. It is close, and its a great free product.

Like I said, the biggest compliment I can give to them is to release my own free service which is all but completed.

Also, the Hollywood on SBRLines is actually Allworld, not hollywood.

I havent been able to see one yet where SBR is in front, but hard to track because rotation numbers out of whack. Also, you see my comment about hollywood?

As far as I know Hollywood/Allworld same thing except Allworld is reduced juice. So technically you are using Allworld lines.

I don't think any line service is going to give you an advantage against CRIS, Pinnacle, or Olympic, but it could certainly give you an advantage against some other good books. I would assume that most of the sportsbooks subscribe to either GJ or DB, so they're getting the same info the player is at the same time the player is getting it.

We have some fun but I appreciate Mike's comments. SBR does not want to compete with Mike's service or DonBest, both of which are very expensive. Their product offers lines that are probably a little faster and also includes real-time injury updates. The SBR product is geared towards everyday players and instead of injury feeds offers the best handicapping stats and quick login ability.

The SBRLines product is the working mans DonBest/G&J and will always be FREE. Its not a tease product to upsale players down the road. Its the real deal, its real fast and its real FREE.

I will answer this question the best I know how:

The guys that are willing to pay $250/$550 know why they are paying it, and know the reasons why they cant use a free service. I really dont see G&J or DB losing current customers to a free service. What we might lose is the occasional guy that is a smaller bettor, that would have otherwise tried our product and been sucked in. For awhile, he may think that a free service will do.

Now, on the other side of that, SBR Free Lines et al, will actually help G&JUpdate/DB in the long run. Just like casinos offer 'play' accounts, we should too. The best way for us to get customers is to teach people how to use a line service. Believe it or not there are still so many people out there that dont even know what a line service is, or how it can help them. The more people we teach, the bigger our customer base gets. So the free services are actually breeding new customers daily.

This free idea actually should have been thought about by GJUpdate/DB and put into play awhile ago. Why it wasnt I dont know, but I can assure you this, both companies will have one sooner than later. Not for competition, but for the reasons I stated above.

TM..............Does it matter to you that the majoirty of books are really useless on a line screen because the lines are jsut copied from the top books that SBR has??

10 is just as good as 50 and just as effective
