Is there any particular reason you can think of that scoring is down so much this year?

Points-per-game average = 36.9 after week 2.

Have there been any subtle changes in the rules that are favorable to defenders? Or is this just an aberration and scoring will likely return to more accustomed levels in the 40 range?

One of my systems is kicking out a slew of UNDER bets this weekend but something about the way this season has begun is giving me the heebie-jeebies.

Levels will go back up. I think the level of QB's is down too and fiannly coaches playing scared.
