Default Huge ML Opportunity Tonight On ESPN @10:35

At +450, the Detroit Pistons have enourmous value tonight. The fact that they played on the road last night, and are taking the short trip down the PCH from Oakland isn't a huge factor, normally I would take it into higher consideration, but with ridiculously conditioned athletes like Rip Hamilton and "The Answer" backed up by a 7 footer who (as long as he keeps his mouth shut) can drain 3pt shots to keep them in a game if they indeed ever trail by double digits. Yes, the Lakers are a sick team, but nobody goes undefeated. The Lakers will lose, and to a good team, no, a better than good team in the Pistons. Wayyyy to many points to be laying here, get on it now!!! Str8 up and heavy on the ML.

Don't I know it all too well...missed the cover by half a point! And what makes it worse is I could've had GS at +5 instead of +4.5 if I would've waited it out a bit.

are pistons in the lakers league? have lakers shown any vulnerabilities whatsoever?
    pistons +10 maybe
    but to win?

I still think the Pistons are trying to work it out with Iverson. I don't think they're "clicking" yet. On the other hand, the Lakers are running like a well-oiled machine.

Also, Kwame Brown is supposed to be starting tonight. That should be an automatic win for the Lakers right there! Bynum and Gasol should eat him for lunch!

hmm.. I think this one has blowout written all over it. Pistons are tired, on the road, and going to be forced to play at a quick pace. Lakers are healthy and firing on all cylinders (except Odom). My opinions are usually wrong when it comes to the NBA though... so we'll see. Looking forward to watching the game.

exactly, these guys travel in style, stay in 1st class hotels and play 2 1/2 hours a night. That and they just played Golden State who is softer than tissue paper.

I see Pistons +10 but they are on tail end of their road trip coming to LA's home court. Agree the Lakers will lose, just dont think its going to be tonight.

i got ahead of myself with another game i am capping...i meant to write that they had to come back from a large deficit to win the game...reguardless, out of all of the Lakers games to date, this will be their biggest test.

Just like with the Celtics, every team wants to give the Lakers their best game...they get up for this, especially Iverson, this will be a great game...

Also, I'm not saying throw a G-Note on the ML, I don't know how much stock yall put in ML plays, but this is simply a bet to counteract a bet ATS...so if i'm going 550 on the game, i expect to go no more than 100 on the ML

Sports usually love your picks but against you on this one. As much as I love A.I. he is not a winner, and as much as I love my ***** Sheed and his thugged out ways, if he gets frustrated, which I feel he will because the Lakers are long and I think most of the calls will go their way, then Sheed will self destruct.

    lakers wont lose this game
but detroit is not an awful pick by any means

    sac and orl are gems
    indy may be also

like i said, as long as sheed keeps his cool and doesn't play like Ally Sheedy, and pull some stupid shit to project his gangsta, i don't give a fu$k image...this team can click...REMEMBER, i can't stress this enough...ML plays are not big plays for me, if a ten point dog ever has a chance to win, you have to admit, this has a decent shot, ESPECIALLY since the lakers haven't lost yet, this IS a game they can lose...look at it this way, if Oklahoma City was in town even with Durant, they would be about a 16.5 to 17 point dog with no shot at winning, but you can't say detroit, even as a double digi dog can't upset this team, the lakers wont go 72-0 guys, these are the games they lose, they won't be a dog in many games and when they do lose, they will be a favorite

put a small parlay on the pistons money line, hornets, bearcats, celtics UNDER

Oh no I def. agree they have a shot at winning I'm just on other side tonight thats all. I don't feel the Pistons are a good team yet, still adjusting to A.I. and like I said I love A.I. he has been one of my favorites for a long time. But him and SHeed together they think they are on the playground, that style of play doesn't tend to add up to many wins in the NBA,

this seems so much like a crapshoot for the pistons ML... how are the lakers going to lose? Sure they're going have to lose sometime, but I don't think its here.... Lakers have the superior lineup both starting and bench... in my eyes the lakers would have to self-destruct WHILE detroit firing on all cylinders for them to lose @ LA.... im leaning towards -9.5 LA... or i'll stay away... ML Pistons is a slim chance imho... with that being said very nice call if you cash this...
