things may have gotten ugly. This gambling sh!t is just to hard to beat. You may have a great year...maybe even a few...but eventually it will catch up to you. This sh!t just sucks the life out of ya. Very depressing. Can you imagine how things would be if you didnt have a sports forum in your life. Most of us would be sitting in our room right now...just staring at the tv...waiting for games to start...and then go to bed. Thats it. No communication with anyone from the outside world. At least not on a social level. Maybe to order a pizza and that would be the extent of it.

This is why people come back after saying they quit posting...trust me...I've done it. I think I can take that giant leap and mingle with the masses. Bullsh!t. Once you've done gambling for a signifigant amount of time...your people skills are shot. This sucks. I'm going to get hammered. Be back later. I'll be the guy in the bar by myself watching ESPN.

Yeah, impossible to win at gambling long term. Thats why it's called gambling. Couldn't imagine the stress of gambling professionally. Would suck placing bets to try to cover rent/mortgage, food, stuff like that.

All due respect Nicky, if you swear it works, why don't you just do it? You seem more well-versed than anyone in the evils of gambling and how it destroys your life and how no one can win. So why not use your own method that you swear works to quit?

Only if life and gambling could be balanced enough, but there isn't enough time in a day. The only way gambling couldn't suck the life out of you is if you had a group of friends that all were gamblers or even better your wife/girlfriend. That would be awesome.

i've had women tell me that living with a gambler is rougher than living with an full rage alcoholic who hits her. not all, but degenerate gamblers are cruel.. when they win, they are great people. .but once they start going bad, they start to treat their ladies like shit, ignore them all day, dont do anythign with them. never want to leave house, even to go shopping at night.. or no restaurants.. i will stop now, cause like panner said, i can be here with 2,398 more examples that happen when you are a gambler and meet a woman..
