Probably dumb question, but any of you guys use OTB anymore considering all the other options they have out there with YouBet, TVG, and all the rebate shops online? I just feel OTB is only good for a spot play here and there if you go to one of the parlors where they pay track odds (Winners Circle in NYC).

But used to live in Fla...went to calder gulfstream etc

Fairgrounds opens tomorrow, I know they have a race restricted to Alabama breds. And once and a while you see a horse bred in Georgia, Tenn, etc...

Just checked out the site, and IMO I would stick with YouBet. When Pinnacle was still US, they had 7% rebate which was truly sweet for crappicappers like myself.

Agreed.
I don't play the ponies like I used to. I take a set amount and play one day a week. Like to watch TVG or HRTV and fade the announcers.
I like to cheer on other posters picks at the SBR OTB.
Good Luck....By the way Richie is pretty good at the ponies.

I use the OTB near my apt. in Brooklyn when I am barrelled in online and only have some cash on hand. The take outs here in NY keep going up and up tho. I like the restaurant/otbs too.

Yeah the Winners Circle is strong in NYC. If I remember correctly, you get track odds through BetByPhone as long as you have $300 in the account.
