That was one of Clinton's big lies when he ran for office, that Chelsea would go to public school. She didn't. The last President to send their child to public school was Jimmy Carter.

I don't think any President with school age children should send them to public school while they are in office. There are too many sickos that would love to make a name for themselves by grabbing the President's kid. I would think there would be less security issues in a private school.
