    Default Cappers challenge

Please keep in mind that I'm drunk and just talking out loud.

I think we should start a cappers challenge where either 16 or 32 posters go head to head in a challenge (just like the ncaa bb tourny) Winner advances to the next round and the loser goes home. maybe start it halfway through football or start it during the start of the basketball season. The better you finish the better the prize. What do you guys think?

Capping challenge I don't know how many bettors we have, maybe a scalping challenge, it can be like bass fishing you only keep your 5 best scalps.

Nah seriously that sounds good, what type of format were you thinking, in terms of number of games?

Illusion, I'll certainly be in. I'll need a #8 seed in the Midwest region, please (if we have a 32 capper tourney).

Most guys are not into contests

Too many forget to make picks half of the time and the contest breaks down

Sorry EBone, your RPI rating isn't high enough for an #8 seed. I'm giving you a #12 seed.

To the good Senator from Wisconsin,

If there are 4 regions and 32 cappers, a #8 seed would be the equivalent to a #16 seed in the real dance. My communication skills obviously need improving......

I'll agree though. I have loaded my schedule with cupcakes and it may affect my seed. Perhaps I need to have a huddle with my peoples and get people on my schedule like Razz, the Senator, bigpig, jjgold, OWNED, kdmfox, etc....... I may not win many but my RPI is sure to skyrocket. The problem is that you guys wont do a home-and-home with me so I cant schedule you.....

Yes, I'm rambling. But I certainly amused myself.

It seems like you're doing so much of this stuff already, Lou. You're looking after Beat The Prick and tracking everyone's best bets every day.

Let's hear it for Lou, ladies and gentlemen. Put your hands together for Illusion.

But if you want to set something else up, more power to you.

As for myself, it would probably make more sense to list myself as a spare. Knowing me, I could see myself letting things slide and not giving it the priority it deserves. Sad but true.

But if you really needed someone to fill up a bracket, I'd go for it.

I know that I'm not good enough to win, but I would like to know if any sportsbooks are going to place lines on the event. Prick definitely NOT the early favorite. I'm sure before the end of the night someone will have the lines posted.

Its not be good enough to win

Contests are pure luck and a guy that knows nothing about football can win.

It's just an idea right now jj. IF we do another contest it might be for basketball. Obviously we have the interest, so hopefully we can get something together.
