LT is online often. He gets treated well by them as far as getting paid and playing. Things are well. If his experiences are positive, why not chime in w/ his experiences? I just read another post where he advises to some fellow that they probably shouldn't be his primary book. His just gives his opinion and makes a logical suggestion to this fellow.

I don't understand your question. If we only rated good books we would just have a list, a very short one.

CW is a neighborhood bookie that thinks it can benefit from any kind of press, good or bad. They shill hard and work the forums through their customers and their staff. Even their stiff page tries to play the forum and is part of their referral program. Obviously they aren't professional, don't have capitol to start a marketing campaign, or a viable business model. It's likely that they will eventually be taking bets they can't pay on.

Like SBR_John said in another thread, to say that CW is related to SBR is an idea most likely created by the sportsbook for more anything-goes press.

Some of them are addressed but others are part-timers who just do enough to light the match on the topic of "betting on credit." We try to organize the forum and let it run itself but we may be at the point where it is best to merge the CW stuff together.

Some of you guys are to paranoid. I realize some of you old phucks (geeks) that have never taken many chances in their lives would not like a creditwagering.

CW spends a lot of time on the board working on who is who. It's not hard to match up plays and payout dates to screen names when majority of your users come from the board. They know who to spend time with on the phone and who is the last guy in line if things go bad. Posters should keep this in mind when they read unbiased feedback from other posters.

Good point Bill. This is why I don't use mysbr spreadsheet anymore. I don't want books to lower my limits. I also occasionally post bogus picks to keep them off track. When you see the word fade in my picks play the opposite. I try to blow ash in their eyes.

I think you are ok with your spreadsheet since books already know what you are betting with them and don't care about your name. But, if you wanted you can hide amounts or use units and no sportsbook so its like any other pick tracker online.

I think it really only matters when you are using a small bookie that monitors what its players say about them in a forum.

I think this is a good idea. Site Promotions makes a lot of sense to me.

I realize SBR is always in a tough position when it comes to organizing the forum and there will always be someone dissatisfied. But SBR has some prior record of not allowing itself to be shamelessly used like it has been by CW.

I recall action being taken against BETonSPORTS shills - and that was before the major STIFF finally happened, while they were still just a shady obnoxious organization like CW.

Similar situations IMO.
