Why is Sportingbet Bad?
I have seen a good bit of bad mouthing about SportingBet both here and other places... But it seems like the comments are that they are bad, but nothing specific. I have been with them for years and have never had problems. I was curious about some specific comments on why they are not that good of a sportsbook?

Hey beater. Welcome to the forum.
I personally like Sportingbet UK. I find some opinionated numbers there on a few different sports at times.
I have also seen some badmouthing but I don't seem to be affected by the situations being described. I could list a few personal complaints, but that is true of all books. There's nothing I can't live with.
I'm not sure there are any other books in the Sportingbet family I would use. A lot of them are problematic.
But Sportingbet UK is okay by me.

Mud, Your post makes sense because there are essentially two SBT divisions. The books in London are different than those in CR in terms of banking and CS. The only CS they share is livechat which is based in Ireland.

Welcome to the forum. This page may offer some useful information. The latest issue is the cancellation of valid winning wagers after the event had finished. The ongoing knock against Sportingbet is their extremely poor customer service.

Warning for Sportingbet
Read that topic and you get my opinion why they are bad. Reliable in terms of payout but what else is there that is good with Sportingbet? I can find several other bookies that are even more reliable for that.

I don't know if they are owned by sportingbet or not but they are run in the same office here in CR, customer service, accounting, etc...
