Default Anyone want to hear my SBR_John's college pick of the year?

I ran this pick on JJGold's simulator 2,354,256 times and it won every time.

    Anyone?

I'll tell you what, you give your best college pick and your reason why and I'll give you the easiest winner you ever had.(and if it losses you dont know me )

I'm not great at ranking my best picks but I guess I would say Purdue +3.5, Minnesota is built for blowing out bad teams but not competing wiith the upper echelon tems because they do not have a sophisticated or talented passing game which is why they are 3-0 against the spread against bad teams that they can run all over but against Purdue they are in trouble, this is not 10 years ago, big time college football is a passing game now.

I think everyone would be interested in your big play. Good luck, whatever it is.
My strongest play this week was Mississippi -2. The reason is below, and copied from the Saturday's best bets thread.

We like Wyoming’s team and head coach a lot, but have to go against them this week. This is a perfect set-up for a big Ole Miss victory. The Rebels proved themselves the better team last season despite a narrow loss in Laramie, gaining 11 more first downs than the Cowboys, and outgaining them by over 170 yards.
Wyoming, not a deep team to begin with, is coming in off an emotionally and physically draining win at their rival and conference foe Air Force. Now they make the long trip to SEC country, which they have already done once this season. With the novelty worn off, and their conference home opener on deck, there is no reason to believe the Cowboys will be inspired to show up.
On the other hand, Mississippi has every reason in the world to play well. They have 37-32 revenge from last year, not the result of being outplayed, but instead the result of five turnovers. Also, this is not only the home opener for the Rebels, but their first home game under new HC Orgeron, and their first home game since Hurricane Katrina decimated that region. Basically, we have a disinterested road opponent only getting two points at a motivated opponent with revenge.

That's it! Watch it end up 3-0. Win, lose or draw that's my GOY.

Hell, I played Under 49. I'm normally not a fan of taking such an improbable middle, but I'm going to play over 46.5 now since I respect your plays. Could be 31-17 or 27-20. Good luck.

2.5 is a pretty good middle, I guess it depends a little on if you got reduced juice, but I might be swayed by hitting two middles on the same game -28 and +29.5 and -10.5 and +11.5 in the 2nd half for the Cal NMS game.

This is the 2nd one of these I've seen you bump today.

Please don't tell me you have scrolled back however many 100 pages these threads are buried under and are responding to them because you think they are current.

    Or please do, actually.
