I have never called a book in the last 8 years or so and rarely even e-mail them.

Why?? I know what the top books are that have no issues ever. Its different if your making big bets and need to call but just to call for any type of tech issues or problems you might be playing at a third tier book.

Just call Bet365 and place a few bets with Alison (sp?). The only beef I have is calling 365 or Canbet and getting a dude. I frigging hang up! I want to talk to one of those English girls not some John Lennon wannabe.

Lots of guys have been placed on phone in wagering only. Also some books have low limits on Internet bets while phone in bet limits are much higher.

I will call because often I am out doing other things and do not have the

laptop with me or other computer options to place a wager.

When you consistenly hit 23% you don't need to call. When you frequently hit 77% you call a lot.

I have been calling a little more lately with limit type bets or on the road or of course transfer/deposit issues which now are an issue and you need to call.

Is there any issue on phone betting? I mean are they recording the call? What if, if the one who picked up misunderstood or placed a wrong bet what are the common solutions for that? Are they going to refund or pay you the suppose winnings?

Jus, Everything is read back to you...you have to confirm, and yes it is all recorded.

I wish Matchbook would have phone wagering available, takes forever on the iphone to place a bet.

I call when a game or match has been taken off the board but hasn't started yet.It happens all the time with the cris books especially in tennis.

You have to speak to a supervisor and they put the wager in for you.It can be a nightmare if you are speaking to a cs clerk,I just ask for a supervisor immediately after I give my account number.

I have to call with dsi and bookmaker for "if " wagers too, with the software at 5dimes you can do it all online.

I have to to make if win/push bets at the Greek, ridiculous. I used to do it with ease online with 5Dimes. I hate using the phone to make wagers.

if bets on the phone suck. they mess them up all the time, and charge me for each wager. 5Dimes has the question and the answer when it comes to if bets. I am glad I am not the only who uses this type of wager. It has turned me from a frequent loser on parlays to a not so frequently loser with no parlays.

Me neither, if iam doing something else i cannot place a big bet (and that is the only reason why it would ever make sense to call it in: online limits) because i obviously didn´t have time enough to cap or overthink it.

But of course the bookies love calls, squares are always welcome.
