Default all it takes is someone to congratulate me on saying texas will lose, and

that they are not as good as the 05 team with VY, which are 2 things i said weeks ago in the face of so many doubters

after i am congratulated, or even if someone just comes in and says 'hoopster, i was wrong and you were right'

then i will shut the fukk up and will stop with the self praise and the hurling of insults in every thread i can find

seriously, this is all it takes

i just wana see a sports bettor who can

a) give credit to a nice call

or b) admit he was wrong

Yes. So is this: I don't really think anyone is automatically enrolled into the Nostradamus Seer of Future Events Honor Society these days for predicting that any college football team, especially one in the Big 12 or SEC, is going to lose a game in a given season.

how about someone who made only a handful of predictions this yr:

including:

kansas over memphis in the ncaa tourney (picked the night before the tourney began)

boston to beat the lakers (picked before game 1)

roger federer will win another major (picked as he was losing twice in august tourneys)

are those good enough to make the nostradamus hall of fame?

I guess I am getting old and jaded. I have had so many picks right where others have had differences of opinion that I don't give it a thought two seconds after the game ends, never mind a week later.

I would say don't change a thing. Enjoy yourself. I only wish I could get that much excitement out of a correct pick.

Congratulations... you predicted that a team facing 4 straight top 11 teams would lose. I predicted Texas Tech would win outright in my video too. Congrats to both of us

when texas beat oklahoma, ppl got excited about them. when texas crushed missouri, ppl really started believing this was the yr colt mccoy got it done after losing a whopping 6 gms the past 2 yrs before this one. and when they slipped by oklahoma state, many many ppl on this very board anointed them as the team that would run the table and said they were the best texas team ever

i said they would lose at tex tech or kansas, perhaps both

and i detailed several reasons why texas 05 was superior

your damn right it feels good to be right

That Hall of Fame would be very crowded if all it took were 4 winners to gain entry.

I predict Texas Tech will lose a game this season. After they do, I too want a thread showering me with non-stop praise because I have no self-confidence at all.

i said they would beat missouri and oklahoma state, and btw, the top 11 teams thing is a farce, it doesnt matter where a team is ranked when you play them, all that matters is where a team you beat finishes the season so you can look back and see how good they are

missouri is not gona finish in the top 11 now, are they? thats because they were not as good as their ranking when they faced texas

lsu's win at auburn looked pretty good the night they did it, didnt it? how does it look now that auburn is weak?

ucla's win over tennessee looked pretty good on labor day night, didnt it? how does it look now that tennessee sucks?

as the season progresses, texas's wins over missouri and oklahoma state wont look so hot, missouri was way overrated, and oklahom st, while good, is a bit overrated

okie state will likely end up with 3 losses (texas, tex tech, and ou)

easy pick to make because tex tech will be a huge underdog at oklahoma

my texas pick to lose was tougher because it was made AFTER the oklahoma game meaning texas was gona be a favorite over every team they played the rest of the season

but i picked them to lose even though i knew they would be faves in every game

clear difference here

Grow up buddy.

Here, I'll give you half of what you want: I've been wrong many, many times. Check out my OUA thread from Oct 25th, a nice 0-2 day.

And for the credit thing, you can check out about one of a million threads here congratulating others or asking 'Who's the best capper here?". Or, just check one of LT's daily threads, he gets lots of props.

Your lack of self-awareness and attention to everything that goes on here is astounding.
