Default Longhorns 2006 National Championship Ring On Ebay

go use the "buy it now" feature for $20,000

http://cgi.ebay.com/TEXAS-LONGHORNS-...QQcmdZViewItem

Quote:
Former Player's Authentic 2006 Texas Longhorns

National Championship Ring!!!

Up for sale is a 100% Authentic 2006 Rose Bowl National Championship Player's Ring which was awarded to the Texas Longhorns for an amazing 41-38 victory against, what appeared to be the unstoppable USC Trojans. For anyone who may ask- This is NOT a sample! It is an official ring that was given to a former player! Also this stunning 10K yellow gold ring is in excellent condition and was made by Jostens.

On the top of the Championship Ring is a raised number one with burnt orange sides, and will glimmer everywhere you wear it! On the left side of the Championship Ring is a rendition of the ADT National Championship Trophy (with a diamond in the place of the crystal football), along with the Texas Longhorns' 13 - 0 Record, and Big XII Champions slogan streaming across the top. On the right is the player's name, T.D.A./45-6 (which stands for "Taking Dead Aim": The Longhorns Motto for the 2005-06 Season, and the team's record for the past 3 seasons), the player's position, the score 41-38 from the National Championship game, the Longhorn logo, and the Rose Bowl Logo.

You will never find this ring anywhere on the market and will probably be the only opportunity for you to ever own exactly what the player's received from what has been said to be the GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME OF ALL-TIME!

2006 University of Texas Longhorns National Championship Player's Ring! Real ring once belonged to a former player!

Again the ring is made of Solid 10K Yellow Gold, is made by Jostens, and is marked on the inside of the ring with Jostens' Manufacturer Markings

Made by Jostens- 10 Karat Yellow Gold! Amazing and Original Design! It is in Mint Condition with No Wear! The Pictures below will speak for themself!

Don't Wait 35 More Years!!!

Enjoy!

On May-22-06 at 09:49:43 PDT, seller added the following information:

For potential and current bidders: The ring's finger size unfortunately cannot be given, as well as the player's name to simply protect the former player and the team. Should you be the winning bidder, then you will find out whose ring it is. Also, anyone who wins this specific ring, as big as it is, can easily have the ring sized to fit their finger at any professional jeweler.

However, for ones who are interested, the ring's weight is over 52 grams in 10K Yellow Gold!

On May-22-06 at 21:32:01 PDT, seller added the following information:

Note to Bidders and Potential Bidders: Many of you have asked for the Championship Ring's Size. While only the winner will find out the Former Player's Name and Position on the Ring, the Size, which for a collector shouldn't matter enormously, is between a 10 1/2 and 11.

Thank you to All and Good Luck!

On May-23-06 at 07:04:04 PDT, seller added the following information:

Many people interested on obtaining this ring have asked what the reserve price has been set at to alleviate small incremental bidding. While the bidding increments is no concern to me I will let all who are interested in knowing that the reserve price has been set at only $10,500. For the True Texas Longhorns or Championship Ring Collector, this ring will be gone come Saturday, so make sure it is you who will own the Only ring ever to appear on eBay and/or the public!!! Should you have any further questions regarding this National Championship Ring please send me a message via eBay and I will contact you fairl soon after receiving it. Thank you and Happy Bidding!!!

Is that 10 American carats or a true 10 carats? Either way, it's a lot of alloy.

Let's see, gold is trading at about $650 an ounce today. So $20K could get you an ounce short of two pounds of the real stuff. Of course, Bloomberg is suggesting the gold rally and speculation may end, so perhaps buying a 10-carat UT ring today will appreciate to a far better investment than spending $20K on gold futures right now.

I bet it's Romance taylor's. Selling it for drug and gun money before he serves his prison sentence he will inevitably get within 5 years.

Either that or some walk-in that would have my philosophy that if you don't play in the game, you didn't win it.
