What now for the daily show
Now that the republicans are relegated to screaming everything that crosses their mind like Brick Tamland (anchorman, the legend of Ron burgundy) from the back of the room, I'd be interested in hearing what other show watchers think they will make the cornerstone of their coverage.
I'm thinking they go back to covering random whack job stories with their correspondents........like whatever happened to the "I hate obama" guy who was running around in cyberspace adorned in a modified hockey helmet between pizza deliveries. other ideas welcome

They will rip on Obama and the Dems in Congress. They ragged on Clinton even before the dick sucking fiasco. I'm pretty sure comedy, not politics, comes first with these guys.

The Daily Show has been around for awhile. They'll just keep doing what they have always done. Cover the Daily News.
This election has obviously provided lots of fodder but they had a successful show long before anyone heard of Sarah Palin. Besides, the way things go in the States, won't the next election basically be starting in a couple months?
