people have to stay vigilant, otherwise it means nothing. We know the corporations will.

It's not a word game.

I am a citizen of the United States of America.

I voted today for Obama.

I am very proud of my country to be able to overcome the hate and ignorance people like yourself champion.

It's good to be proud, there's nothing like the land of the free....that's why it's so annoying to scuttle around like a criminal when I'm trying to place a bet, I thought you lot were free!

Well said, Deuce.

I have always been proud to be an American. That certainly does not mean that I subscribe to everything America stands for, but America is infinitely more than just one leader in time. I've traveled to Europe, Australia, South America, the Middle East, and Africa during the last 8 years and I've enjoyed every place I went, but never once did I shy away from letting anyone know that I was an American. Will people outside of America like me more now that my country is being "run" by someone they like? I couldn't care less because most of those people will be just as uninformed as the majority of the people that elect our leaders. Our country didn't become any smarter during the last 4 years. It simply got tired of hearing the same song and it finally heard one it liked better. If that's all it takes to make you proud of your country then you are little more than a lemming.

The same song? If you mean the same theme of bad news after bad news, then I would agree. The last eight years have been a dreadful ride. Personally, I'm excited to move on.
