Now that we have arrived at interleague play in baseball. Do you like it or dislike it? Easier for you to cap, or harder to cap?
I figure there are mixed thoughts on this, and would like to hear what everyone thinks.

I like it. Love to see Angels vs Dodgers Interstate 5
freeway series.

It is harder to cap, but I love it since the White Sox have six chances a year to beat up on the Cubs. (except for tomorrow since I have the Cubs)![]()

If I put wagering considerations aside, I would probably vote YES. I like variety and anything non-traditional.
However I never put wagering considerations aside. The vast majority of my research is on teams playing within their leagues. That's where the money is for me.
Therefore NO.

Interleague is the best. Nothing more entertaining than getting the pitcher up when he doesn't know one end of the bat from the other.

it's boring see the same teams playing with themselves 12 times a year. Mix it around like NBA and NFL.

I have to vote with capping in mind. I find it a bit harder to figure out. Much better to do with them playing in the perspective leagues.
But for fans, and for the game. Its a good thing. So the City rivals can play each other durning the season.

It is absolutely one of the worst ideas ever by MLB. i absolutely detest it... Not only does it violate and cheapen the tradition of MLB, it also creates a huge imbalance in schedules which gives some teams an advantage over others...The way it should be is each team plays their division rivals 18 times and their non division rivals 12 times at least that was the way it was in the old days before expansion now it would be closer to 15/10.
It's really sad that MLB is ready to throw away it's rich history all b/c they can sell a few more tickets over the course of a year by creating great rivalries like the Brewers vs. Devil Rays or the Padres vs. Bluejays.....
There is not anything romantic anymore about the World Series or the All-Star game. It's all been lost and will be lost till MLB cancels interleague once and for all.

How long does the interleague schedule last? I see today is the last day they will play interleague. Will they play again this season?
Or do they just play rivals for the weekend series?

Well I thought the weekend was excellent - the 3 Mets/Yankees matches were all crackers.
