boys, did you all see that baseball swing vid of rogie? omg, i swear, i wish i never opened it.. i am officially traumatized.. That might very well have been the worse swing i have ever seen in my life by anyone. Man, that kid swung a bat like a 4 yr old. 94% of girls swing better than him.. At one time, he swung and missed and spun 3 times around like a girl.. Who does that? And the ball was coming in at 25 mph, too..

I am suing SBR for allowing us to have to see this.. i am now scarred for life. There should have been a warning on the thread. Man, what a terrible display that was.. Man, i played organized baseball till age 16, and was pretty good.. I was a top 25 hockey player in the province of Quebec at age 14.. At least JJ is a pretty decent athlete, who swings a bat pretty good, unlike rogie.


Which leads me to my question. Seeing we are all into sports here... do we have anyone here that really was good at a specific sport and played organized ball.. I am sure there must be some really good athletes here since we all I am 100% sure grew up as a kid loving sports.. (we had to if we bet it now).. and is there anyone here that can admit they were a horrible athlete growing up, and can't even swing anywhere as good as rogie?

What sport were you boys great at, and were you really good, and what position did you play?

and did anyone here stink at sports?

Well I wont consider myself a Christian Ronaldo or a Ronaldinho (magician soccer players) .... But I sure lived up to my nickname when I played semi pro soccer (Genaro Gattusso) .... known to do the dirty work .... played with one of the top teams in Costa Rica (Liga Deportiva Alajuelense - http://www.lda.cr/), before I made it to 1st division, I decided to end first my college degree ... and got a full scholarship at Boston College ... well that did not only ruin my soccer career (broken leg - 2 yr absence) but I also lost my scholarship and that was the end of my so called ¨dream life¨ ... but along the way I got to meet great people and even though I still play Tuesdays and Fridays (5 on 5 indoor soccer) .... I play with buddies, just to make sure no serious injuries are involved.

I played Little League growing up, but decided to end it and focus 100% on hockey when I figured out baseball just wasn't aggressive enough for me.

I was a very good hockey player when I was younger. It helped that I grew up next to a pond so Dec - March I played a TON of pond hockey when I had spare time away from my very rigid hockey schedule.

Nicky has potential and we saw glimpses of his hockey skills against 6th graders that did not know how to goaltend, he did know how to handle a stick though.

I was pretty good at football and baseball...Played college football was supposed to play college baseball too but it was just too much to play 2 sports.

As far as sports I was horrible at...I was definitely a fish out of water on the Ice...I can't skate if my life depended on it and I am not ashamed to admit it at all....
