Default the new detroit/cavs series price

heres the updated series price on the cavs/pistons series.
Quote:
Detroit Pistons -193
Cleveland Cavaliers +181
the way the pistons have played in these past 2 games, i'm thinking the cavs might be worth a shot at even this reduced price.

do you think it's sucker money, if you bet the cavs at this price ?

IMO, if you didn't take the Cavs when they were plus a million or whatever, you can't jump on now. What's the point?

they still have to beat the cavs 2 games in a row in order to cash. from what i've seen in those past 2 games, i really question detroit's play.

Okay, so say the Pistons win Game 6. What do you think the ML on Game 7 in Detroit will be? I'd suspect steeper than the line there.

I think you'd be better off taking the Cavs ML for Game 6. If they lose that game, they won't win the series.

Both individual MLs will be higher. (With the Pistons as -6 faves in Game 6), so basically, you're throwing odds away to spread the bet out over two games.

Like Razz said, I find it hard to believe that a Pistons win in Game 6 will be followed by a Cavs victory in Detroit.

A lot thought the same about this game 5. Who would of thought the Pistons would lose 3 in a row. Can it end up 4 in a row?

I think I will stay away from this.

You're absolutely right. I'm the biggest enemy of the "due" theory. I was just using that to indicate that you'd be getting a worse line on Game 6 in the hopes that the one game the Cavs win is on the road.

Also, consider (for odds purposes) that

Cavs in exactly 6 is +227

and

Cavs in exactly 7 is +983

Take DET -193 for the series...if they win then you have CLEV who will be a +500 or probably higher dog...

Now you have a perfect scalp opportunity....

But DET hasn't looked sharp at all so be cautious.

I got a $40 dollar freeplay on the Cavs to win $1200. I can lock up 4 bills profit, but I think I'm going to be greedy and let it ride

What a poor coaching choice in signing Flip Saunders. He has the 2nd worst playoff road record in the NBA. He is more offense than a defensive coach. The Piston defense has been pathetic. Thats how they won in the playoffs in years past. Now these chimps think they can win it with offense. What a joke.

Damn OWNED, that's pretty sweet. I really like the Cavs for game six, so hopefully we both cash big.

I'd take the profit now myself. Its already a homer, a 10 bagger, a bird in the bush.

Detroit has been off their game yes, but they are a great team.
