Default OT: What's your favorite show not related to sports?

As I have gotten older I watch alot less sitcoms. I am still a Simpsons junky and always watch Married with Children reruns whenever they are on.

I love Married With Children and The Simpsons!!!

I heard that Saved by the Bell is coming back
to T.V that show used to be my favorite.

Only shows I watch now are American Idol,
reruns of The Simpsons Married With Children,
Becker and Fraiser. Oh yeah I watch Yo Momma
    and Punk`d on MTV.

T.V kinda sucks now. I have this new 24hr
channel that is about Video GAmes pretty cool.

I actually am starting to like Family Guy..., I like any show about poker...I really like the show "Smallville", "House" is an alright show...and..um..I like the old Twilight Zone episodes(the black and white ones) and I guess that's it.

I also like Married with Children..great show. Al Bundy(Ed O'neal) is just flatout cool as hell.

I find the Simpsons a bit jaded now. Frasier is (to me) painful now. Married with Children however is timeless. They must have recorded the episodes live ... a bit like Bilko, the fumbles and mistakes make the shows remain fresh.

Watched the one last night where the Bundys got the 'full service' at the garage. Al is hilarious.

I read that peg was a lesbian as well. Cant decide if that is exciting or sick.

I'm in love with several of the weather babes on The Weather Channel.

Also enjoy Mythbusters and a lot of stuff on The History Channel. Oh, and reruns of the original CSI just to see Marg Helgenberger.

I love my animated sitcoms: South Park, The Simpsons and Family Guy.

I watch Jeopardy almost every day. I am eligible to be on right now (until September) so I keep hoping for the call.

There are a few dramas I watch now but none of them are good enough to really endorse. They're more time-killers when I'm winding down at the end of the day and waiting for scores to come in. Numb3rs, Conviction, Rescue Me.

I watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart most days.

Probably my favorite show of all time (besides The Simpsons): Homicide: Life on the Street.

Family Guy and Arrested Development...I have rented all the shows available for these two via Netflix. If you are an Arrested Development fan, you have to see the DVDs because all the extra stuff is priceless.

I'm shocked no one mentioned Prison Break or 24 on Fox. 24 is the best. I'm currently renting the old seasons of 24 from Blockbuster. Law and Order CI is the best of the Law and Order family but I like them all

Some favorites of The Great One

    Married with Children

Dallas (Had its hayday in the 80's and is now on Soapnet)

    Prison Break

    The Apprentice

Spin City( Only the early ones with Michael J.Fox) The later ones with a 45 year-old Charlie Sheen trying to act like's he a playboy didn't do it for me.

Coach( But I guess that is somewhat sports related)

Friends( Didn't watch it during it's original run on NBC, but it has been growing on me) This one surpries me, because generally I'm not a big fan of these kind of shows.

I have watched every episode of Prison Break. 24 is an awesome show, but since I missed the first 3 shows I just gave up and will wait for it to come out on dvd.

The Simpsons are a rip off of the Bundys.

    FACT.

And great one, careful what you say about Charlie Sheen there. he is held in VERY high regard in the natrass household for his work in Scary Movie III. that he never won an Oscar (never mind even a nomination) just shows that the judges dont know Jack Schitt.

I like him normally, but he fell on his face in that role. Obviously, the show was cancelled soon after he went on it full time. The guys in his 40's and they are trying to act like everyhting surounding his character is about being some playboy. It was just downhill when Mike Flaherty left the cast. Like I said, I think the fatc it was cancelled soon after supports that.

Sheen was great in major League and wall Street. I'm not big on actors and what movies they have been in and stuff usually because I'm just as good if not better looking than most of them. But I liked him in those two.

Mine is the Eurovision song contest. Considering that will take place this week ( THU 18 and SAT 20 ), this is one of the most exciting week of the year for me and for all the ESC lovers.

There really aren't to many shows not related to sports that i watch these days. Most of the shows i watch tend to be re-runs of old shows i liked. However here are some newer shows i watch on occasion:

8th and Ocean ( Just to look at briana )
Las Vegas ( not watching it as often, but i still like it )
Monk ( Never know when its on, but will watch it if i come accross it )

OK, I exaggerated a little but ... the dysfunctional family where values are inverted ... actually satires decent family values while being a family unit .... anyway, that kind of thing.

Sometimes when Al explains things to his kids ... could be Homer.

    Anyway, for me :

seinfeld, partridge, brass eye, chewin the fat, funniest home videos, etc.

The Simpsons came on long before Married WIth Children. If you are going to trace it back to any shows try Flintstones and the Honeymooners.

    Anyway,

Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, Ali G, Six Feet Under, and for some CANCON Kenny vs. Spenny, Trailer Park Boys and Billable Hours.
