I love that they did that. Maybe I'm wrong, but in years past, they would have a ABC primetime game, but only for about the first 3 weeks of the season, then it would stopexcept for the last weekwith the conference championship games. I love prime time football, especially college. Just something about it.

That Notre dame/ USC could be two undefeated teams at that point. Certainly no more than 1 loss each coming into the game.

What about the Ohio State at Texas TGO. that game should be one hell of a game too, and should have a perty good rating too.

Yeah, but I knew that one would be prime time plus both will only be 1-0 at that point and I don't think anyone sees either of them running the table.

They should have the Oklahoma/Texas game be in primetime instead of Oregon/Cal., but I know it is always at noon anyway on ABC.

i agree too, but due to the red river shootout sponser is probly why they chose not to make it a primetime game.

He is one whopping moron. You'd think as young as he is by broadcasting standards, he would be a little more accurate with what he says, but he messes up so much. Listening to him, you can see why he failed so miserably at Notre Dame.

He is not even considered a real person in my book.

I think they made a good decision putting Cal on the schedule three times - they will be a really good team next year.
I second the comments on Bob Davie.

Cal really doesn't have to be that good to look good as the only hard game on the schedule is USC. That conference is almost as bad as the Big East.

At least USC is attempting to play someone out of conference with Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Arkansas.

All three of those teams would finish in the top 5 of the Pac 10 if they were in that conference. nebraska and Arkansas may be pushing it though.

I'll let you guys in on a little secret. Arkansas is going to beat USC next year.

Yep. I remember watching that game last year, and hoping USC had to go the Nutthouse in 2006.

The OU.UT game is played at the state fair where beer flows like crazy. Both the colleges always turn down the offer for primetime cause they dont want the students to hang out at the fair all day long and get riled up for the game that same night. Sponsors dont mind but the higher ups at both schools say no.

that would make alot of sense.

i can just imagine what would happen if you have 80,000 fans go crazy all liquored up like that anyways.

this is really shaping up to be a good line-up...as far as Davie goes, he's really grown on me...I actually think he's a pretty good announcer now...
