There is some kind of charity run going on on the roads around my building today. I live on the 2nd floor - thus not too far from street level - and I woke up this morning to the sound of high-pitched spectators going, Woooooooooooooo! Wooooooooooo!!

That was around 8:30. Now it's 1:30 and they're still out there with the high-pitched, Woooooooooooooo! Wooooooooooo!! They ease up for short spurts but always pick up again.

Woooooooooooooo! Wooooooooooo!!

There are quite a few of them and, as I say, they are quite high-pitched.

Why is that good news for you? Well just in case you were concerned that you might run into the most annoying people in the world today, you can set your mind at ease.

It won't happen. They're all right here.

You should get a megaphone and lean out the window and announce "You can run but you cant hide. With every breath we are getting cloer and closer to your final one. Death is inevitable and will come to us all. Look around you. Everyone you see .... will be dead within years. You will be dead. Death is nothing to fear ....." etc etc.

That usually kills a party atmosphere.

Wrong, again. Absolutely nothing happened apart from I wasn't asked back to do the Nursing Home disco again.

I hate that especially if you've had a late night with partying or capping...
