    Yawn. Reagan supported dictatorships the world over, and of course in his second term he lost control of the government completely, as his mind went.

    Then there was the mass shipping of nutjob Saudi extremists to Afghanistan, after a good shot at isi/cia terrorist training camps in Pakistan. Guess what? They became the Taleban. The Russians warned at the time this would have long term blowback on the West, and they were right.

    Good article, durito.

    I consider myself in this exact scenario. I definitely lean conservative towards most political issues except in economics I lean somewhat populist (what can give the most net economic benefit to society as a whole). Bush's policies are ignorant and lacking leadership which was his main job responsibility. I'm not touting Clinton, Reagan, Carter, etc either. The two party system is broken. It's picking the lesser of two evils. This time it's an geezer flip-flopper or a half-black with a steady mind, it's basically a no-brainer.
