    did you guys see Matsui's press release yesterday. he apologized to the fans for getting hurt.

    i wish more overpaid players would have some class like Matsui has.

    Why is that? I really think more players should be like this. If they didnt have fans, they wouldnt have paychecks. Way to many greedy players out there, that dont realize what they have.

    And Dan said it right, the Japanese have dedication and respect. Something a lot of Americans lack.

    I think it's a genuine reflection of the culture he was raised in. Personal responsibility may not be high on the list of American values, but that's not necessarily a universal sentiment.
