Just checked, double-checked, and triple-checked my figures at the end of the day and still kept ending up with a balance $100 different from what my Mansion account was showing. Went through several days of bet history on their site and couldn’t find anything to explain the discrepancy. So I ended up calling them.

The young lady at Mansion then explained to me that all active customers have had a $100 bonus added to their accounts “in celebration of polka.” I thought that was a nice, if rather unusual, promotion. (I gathered later in the conversation that they were celebrating “poker.” Apparently they’re launching an affiliated poker site. But she said there’s no strings on the money—it’s not like you have to use it for poker.)

She said they’d be sending out an explanatory e-mail to everyone.

Anyway, I’m going to listen to some polka music now and enjoy the fact that I lost $100 less than I thought today.

FWIW I did notice an exact $100 credit to my Mansion account three-quarters the way through the Clippers/Suns match last night, but the penny didn't drop until I did the math early this morning.

With half the bonus I could have gotten an overly large Schlong AND still have 50 $ left. Hey, I could have used those to get even longer schlong.

I played some poker. Might have been my connection but software was slow and not very stable. Am sure it will get better, but certainly wan't blown away. Stars and Party and years ahead just in terms of software. But I at least tried a couple games with the free $100 and won about $10 more. Will be interested to see were they are in a couple months.

A question for all you seasoned members here...when in all your experiance have you EVER known of a book to just go and plonk $100 into your account before? I mean I think it's truly fantastic!

Another thing, their customer service is polite, they have great lines, when you win - money is posted back to one's bank promptly (and without quibble), it's also always free to cash-out and (unlike 5Dimes SBR A) their bonus policy isn't (IMHO) misleading! :mellow:

Personally I think Mansion (SBR B+) should be upgraded to an "A" book and if "A" spaces are limited at all, then 5Dimes (again IMHO) would be the perfect candidate to lose theirs.

Well I wrote and asked them why I didnt get this. They said it was done totally randomly.

I then wittily replied that they would not make good parents, 'randomly' rewarding some of their kids but not others.

I havent received a reply to this as yet.
