    Default An interactive SBR thread - if you dare

    So I heard something about this David Blaine dude trying to set a record for holding his breath. I was under the impression he is a magician and what that has to do with magic, I don't know. Maybe there was more going on than I'm aware of - whatever - it has given me a diabolical idea for a thread.

    The question of course is, how long can you hold your breath?

    Now please, do not recklessly attempt this if you have health problems (or at least make sure there is someone with you who can type up a quick note for the forum if, in fact, you die.)

    My time:

    2 minutes 35 seconds.

    There's this guy at the Kumbha Mela in India that burries his head in the sand. Apparently he has mastered the yogic art of breathlessness. Which, if I understand correctly, also means deathlessness.

    i got a question for one of you braniacs: Why the hell did they have a two-hour show when this homo-blaine chick was only gonna hold her breath fer 9 minutes??? seriously, the only way that would be worth watching was if it was an 8 min 24 sec show. The only time i hold my breath is at work when the community shitter glade supply runs out

    I hold my breath for about 7 hours every night and sometimes for an hour in the middle of the day.
