WagerWeb upgraded to B. The sportsbook previously imposed a $20 Neteller fee for each withdrawal limited to $1,000 per day. SBR has received positive player feedback since the sportsbook began processing all Neteller transactions at no charge. Players can receive $5,000 per week via Neteller, although the $1,000 daily limit is still in place. Ownership told SBR of plans to increase the the daily limit prior to the start of the football season. WagerWeb has reduced the cost of bank wires from $70 to $50 and launched a new website since SBR’s previous upgrade to B- in January. They've been a solid book for a long time and are worthy of the B rating IMO.

Well listen, I can come up with complaints about any sportsbook. That's just the kind of delightful guy I am. I can nitpick with the best of them.

For WW, the first thing that comes to mind is still that vague props policy they have for some players where the players have to bet a certain ratio of prop bets to "regular" bets. I have always found it to be really weak (particularly considering their high juice, low limit props.)

Now they did listen to customers to some extent on that, but they didn't actually change the policy. To clarify, I'm going to copy something from before:

01.30.2006 (01:21 AM CST) In a recent conversation with SBR, WagerWeb ownership talked of implementing friendlier policies and agreed to eliminate a procedure where accounts are temporarily locked until the user confirms that he/she understands betting restrictions placed on proposition wagers. Recent player feedback has otherwise been positive.



The wording is imprecise. It doesn't actually say the Mickey Mouse Props Policy is being scrapped. It just says they aren't going to go to the same lengths to assure that restricted players understand what is happening. Which isn't saying much when you get right down to it.

This particular policy only affects a very small number of players so it's far from a major issue. It doesn't affect me personally so it's possible that there may have been further changes and I missed them. If so, I apologize.

I think I understand what they were trying to address with this policy, but I just think there are much better ways.



Other than that, I dunno. I get a few too many bets that are rejected at the confirmation screen because the line has changed (never in my favor).

Things that really bug me at Wagerweb.

First of all, it times out waaaaay too quickly.

Also, you select your sport and naturally you need to refresh the lines to make sure that they don't time out on you. But instead of just hitting a refresh button, you have to navigate through a drop-down menu to select the sport you want to update the lines of - I mean why doesn't it default to the sport you're already on?

OK they're minor things but they're so petty and so annoying and really spoil what should be a seamless experience.

At least nothing new has come up. Being limited in any way isn't fun. I think I mentioned in that thread that the locking of the accounts was the main issue. Now, the worst case scenario should be that players simply can't get a bet down on props.
