Default which athelete wasted there talent the most

i think it was doc gooden.

if this guy didn't get mixed up in the coke scene, who knows how good he could have been. he could have possably broke alot of records, because he was so good at a very young age.

who do you think wasted there talent the most ?

Gotta put Steve Howe in the mix. SEVEN drug suspensions in his career.

Ryan Leaf - some believed him to be more talented than Peyton Manning, and he went #2 overall behind him.

Steve 'Bubba' Miller, SW Houston area, circa mid-60s. Dude was head-&-shoulders the best athlete, football and baseball, in the city up to about age 14. By 10th grade, he was a wasted cause.

Also toss Len Bias into the mix. We'll never know if it was just the coke that killed him, or something else. But the coke certainly didn't help.

Gotta mention Mike Tyson too. He made it all the way to the top of the heavyweight division so he can't really be considered the #1 biggest waste of talent, but he was certainly a notable train wreck.
