We will have to verify that they are not a part of any of the established companies using the World Gaming service, but this looks like another WG turn-key op. These sites should be avoided. It requires a minimal investment to start one of these and the service provider doesn't stand for player funds.

They have a VeriSign image at the bottom of their site. If you search them on VeriSign's site they are not registered.

That is all it is...like I said, under the Sportingbet umbrella. Allpro.com and Fieldgoal.com probably have the same owners just using two different domains they owned.

No reason to play at these sites. Much better options available.

Hey Clip,

Actually, the World Gaming Service has its own master license in places like Antigua and then sublicenses to other books. Sites like BetonUSA, 24karatSportsbook, Aztec Gaming and GoSportsbet are sublicensees. That’s not to be confused with the World gaming software, that they and the Sportingbet family of books all use.

Sportingbet backs their partner sites for as long as they are with them. That doesn't help when a player has a dispute but those sites can't collapse without SBT plc picking up the tab.

I give you credit for wearing that Clippers logo going into this season.

What is the difference? They own World Gaming. Do you mean only some of them are backed by Sportingbet financially?

I've been wearing this Clipper logo for over 20 years now...you want to talk about torture? Ugh...but man will it feel nice if we ever make it back to the playoffs! I think it will be this season.

It also felt great to finish as the top team in LA last season!!!

Right. Here is an incomplete list of SBT backed books. They see the others as just renting space. Sportingbet does not put their name anywhere near them.

Amen...it always blows my mind with all of the solid shops out there with a wide variety of offers, why players even bother looking into these type of books. I can see it if they are new online and saw a magazine ad or something...but there is no excuse if you know about this site to even be entertaining the thought of books like that until they have been around for a couple football seasons. Even then, they would have to have a pretty incredible offer.

I never heard of FieldGoal.com either until I saw them plastered all over Fanball.com as well. At best, they have only one NFL season under their belt ... no more than that.

As of September 2003, the domain name was for sale and appeared to be nothing more than somebody's little forum ... this is what the home page looked like back then (notice who the site owner was ):

September 18, 2003
For Sale
This site is for sale.

I will try to start developing this site, but in the meantime, if someone wants to make an offer for the site... send me an email!

There are plently of players who have done quite well playing at second and third teir books. But you have to really know what you are doing. Persoanlly, if I was just a regualr recreational player, who just wnated to have one account, I'd probably play at VIP. I'm not a fan of the web site. But they have free neteller withdrawals. For football they have the best props. And I knwo everyone loves pinny, but I think alot of people feel more comfortable knowing that if there is a problem, they can actually speak to someone over the phone.

VIP over BoDog? I don't think you can beat the entertainment value of BoDog for the true square. Just my opinion.

I wish I were allowed to play at both and eat up those dog lines.

Clip,

You are right. I would place Bodog ahead of VIP. I can tell that the SBRlines are having the desired effect. Haven't played at VIP in awhile, but now I keep seeing VIP all the time, becuase of the lines. Its very hard to ebat a 20% bonus on all deposits. But if you bet props, VIP has some of the best lines. Beteros also used to have great prop lines, and you had a chance to win a date with a porn star, but I think they went out of business.

I dont have anything against playing at new unkown books for players who know and understand the extreme risks. Kind of like trading options or commodities. You ever signed for one of those? You have to sign like 27 times that you know, understand and accept the risks. And understand you will probably lose all your money.

JJ,
I agree with the software comparison but there is a lot more to a book than just software. VIP will take a 10 dime NFL bet online while Bo will only take 1 dime. Probably a toss up on cs because both are top.

VIP will take a big bet online.. They take anyone who is not arb'ing. They cut guys who are picking off their off numbers, steamers and bonus grinders. They are no Pinny but they are not as docile as Bodog or Bet365 or the others in their group.

So they'll take a big bet as long as the player is betting into a bad line. LOL

Yea..the wrong side of the bad line

But most NFL games, side bets anyway, are pretty much painted numbers anyway. You have to compare them to their R group of high bonus books for casual players which is Bet365, Bodog, ect. You can't compare them to the P's; CRIS, Pinny, Oly group. Which was my point...they compare well against Bodog and Bet365.

Ok, call me a dumb*ss - I think I might need some help here...I am a brand new bettor who has used fanball.com for a LONG time for my fantasy gaming needs and since it was a supporter of this site, I signed onto fieldgoal.com about three days ago.

I have only deposited $20 (through my cc) to the site and since, have made a return of over $500 with sound straight wager bets on the NFL and MLB games over the past week. What would you guys recommend doing at this point. Get my cash payout now and wash my hands of it (and sign with a more reputable site) or what?

I am scared to death that they have my cc info and for purposes of the payout, gonna have my bank info though...
